The white dress Marilyn wore in the famous scene in "The Seven Year Itch" sold for 4.6 million. No film costume has ever been sold for more.

Why do you love Marilyn? One of the many reasons I love Marilyn is how kind she was to everyone. She didn't see herself as the sex symbol most people saw her as. She was knocked down many, many times by Hollywood producers, not paying her as much as the other actresses in their films, but she still remained kind and worked hard in all her movies. Though she was internally sad frequently throughout her life, she always remained strong in the public eye. She would always try to make everyone around her happy, she gave everyone her whole self. She loved her fans and thought it was them that made her who she was. I only wish she lived longer to see how much she is still adored to this day. To see how many walls her portraits hang on. To see how younger people still watch and admire her films. She was truly gone too soon😔❤️

I had met Suzie Kennedy, one of Marilyn's most popular impersonators at the 50th anniversary of Marilyn's death in 2012. She was very beautiful and looked more like Marilyn in person. It was an odd feeling to experience since she resembled Marilyn so much, I felt as if I was meeting Marilyn. People who had met Marilyn back in the day were so lucky❤️ I am only posting this photo for this account to be safe, as I've had it since 2011❣️
