After choosing a Montessori pre-school for our kids we opted for a public primary school. Years ago I was angst-ridden about the decision but I can honestly say that there's a lot to love about public education. As for the angst? It's not so much about the school as it is about the growing up and letting go. More #ontheblog 💛
Is it bad that I'm already thinking about tomorrow's coffee? ☕️
The volume level in my house has only just dropped to an acceptable level thanks to Che who is reading P & P bedtime stories (highly recommend having a 10-year-old bookworm). I'm feeding Marigold to sleep* and dreading the kitchen tidy up (but looking forward to tea 👌🏻). *I've fed all my babies to sleep. If you're a new mum and worried about doing the same...let that worry go ✨
A few of my favourite pieces from @naturebabynz's summer collection are #ontheblog 🌿 practical, playful clothes that withstand all the ups and downs of childhood ✨
It rained on the weekend and now I have very happy plants 🌿
I will dress my kids in dungarees for as long as they'll let me 🌿
Small steps towards living a more frugal, eco-conscious life do not involve cloth nappies (because: sanity) but they now include washable nappy wipes aka @cheekywipesaustralia 👌🏻I featured these on my stories last week and I highly recommend. Full review + discount code #ontheblog
He wakes me more often than Marigold does. Lucky he's cute. Also, kiss curl 😘
I've been a mum for a whole 10 years and there's been many humbling lessons learnt. The first? Birth is *just* the beginning and yet we spend so much energy preparing for it without really considering the weeks and months that follow. The most precious days? The ones spent at or close to home - swings and crayons and storytime and grubby feet. The things I've learnt from 10years of motherhood #ontheblog
Daniel found the driftwood on the beach and the rope in the garage and then he made the kids a swing. They played on it all afternoon. This is the stuff that makes me really happy (had to give those feet a good scrubbing though) 💛
For the past ten years I’ve apologised for my messy house on countless occasions.

It’s become such a common part of my repertoire that I spurt it out as though it’s a standard part of conversation; “It’s so nice to see you! Come in…apologies for the mess.” But I think it's about time I stopped apologising. More #ontheblog 🌼
Milky skin and little toes. Today marks 10 years of motherhood for me and while it's a cliche, it's very, very true - it really does go by so quickly. As I cradle 10-week-old Marigold I do so knowing that it won't be long till she's blowing out 10 candles on her cake. Every day I remind myself to soak it all in, to sit with her and ignore the chores, to inhale her newborn scent and brush my face into her fluffy baby hair. The days are long but the years...oh, they're so very short 💛
My darling Che is 10 today! Here he is in double digits; witty, kind, funny, smart and the best little actor I know (watching him on stage is one of my very favourite things). Happy Birthday Beautiful Boy! I'm so proud of you 🎈
Sweet pixie features and fluffy hair (and a bald patch at the back) 👶🏻✨
I'm so drawn to golden tones now that I have a Marigold 🌼
Getting so big but still so little 💛 her sweet French style bloomers are by @claire__connell - send her a DM if you're interested in some for your little one 🌿
Spring days that feel like summer and new @saltwatersandals - the only shoe for the season 👌🏻
