Just to let everyone know, follow me @tattoos_by_rickboline for all my tattoo stuff and more frequent updates, and to let everyone know that you can find @doomsdaytattoo for now on. Come in in and let's get you scheduled, old and new clients. Thank you!
The new @inforce01 APLc is a much nicer pistol light than my old surefire xc1 that I had, unfortunately it requires me finding a new holster to properly secure it. Thanks to Tyson @kns_precision_inc for always having the things I need before I know I need them haha

Finished mounting the tank and dash stuff at 4:am. Had to make mounts for those last pieces to get them mounted. Now I can finish my wiring and work on mounting my tail light and plate bracket.
Once all that's done, them I can disassemble, clean up the frame and prep it for powder coating. As well as get the tins done up.

So stoked to get this sweet piece of craftsmanship from @wet_neck_67 thanks man! I'm super stoked!
Made some progress on this thing tonight, rewiring it to make the harness a bit more consolidated, and easier to remove and replace while the fuse mix gets relocated to under the dash which will serve no purpose but to cover the tank gap as well as house the ignition switch. Next week will work on getting the tins primed and sanded so they're ready to start laying a base coat. Also have plans for a sissy bar that is rigid mounted to the struts without brackets but still removable. Something to take my mind off the Sonoma for a minute while I get the parts needed to repair it before it goes in for frame work the week after next.

Not bad for a little shitty static dropped Sonoma...but now the trans is rebuilt, hopefully for a while.
Been fighting with this thing now just to get it running like normal. Now that it's running, it idles fine, but get this shitty backfire through the TB when giving it some acceleration.... sometimes I hate trying to work on my own shit.

Motor has gone through an extensive tune oil pump, timing set, valves, springs, guides, pushrods, lifters, rockers, distributor, and well as most sensors. Still more to go was all running fine like this just yesterday, after I spent all day yesterday replacing, motor mounts, plugs, wires, distributor and rotor, fuel filter, fuel pump, and an oil change as well as punching out the catalytic, I took it for a drive and lit the tires up , and did fine. As I got around the block it started to run rough with a backfire from the exhaust and intake. Don't want to pour more money into the motor I don't plan on keeping so [email protected] thinking I should just go ahead and swap it with the V8 , I forgot how frustrating it is to work on your own stuff 😤

4"drop in the front 5" drop in the rear... gone get ready to pull the motor and trans soon and drop in that sweet SBC 383. The process won't be fast but when it's done, it will be.

Got the rear lowered 5" waiting for spindles and coils to get the front down 4". Then will rebuild the trans and go through the motor...runs good at the moment but want to check things out before I get any further...the stock 4.3 will stick around for a bit until I get the 383 gone through and rebuilt...then it will get swapped out once that motor is all set up.
