I still say DLX needs a Shmoo suit for interns to wear at events, and when interns are not around we get @mickeydlx to give it a go!

This was my way to pay tribute to old board graphics when they started bringing them back heavily there for a bit. Eventually the wheels fall off.

Moving right along. My sons very literal costume idea: “it’s just me, Julien, riding a pretend Batman motorcycle because it’s just a costume, not the real one”. You got it kiddo.

I guess I should stick to a more modern version of the Batman motorcycle for my sons Halloween costume. It’s back to google cave for more search results.

No more fires, please!
HARVESTER Co.® calls Sonoma County home. In fact, we're located right next door to @chimeraartspace whose members have worked tirelessly to build, a website collecting updated and verified fire-related information. Check it out!

This t-shirt supports those affected by these devastating wildfires. Proceeds go to the @northbaybohemian Rebuild Sonoma, which directs all funds to community-based nonprofits that provide direct aid to the rebuilding and relief effort in Sonoma & Napa counties. Link in bio.
You can order online and we can ship, or make a note to pick up if you’re local. Also you can go to @harvesterco comment or DM on the post and we will hold your size and have it ready in the next day or two.

My lady doing the right thing. They started moving able bodied evacuees out of our local High School today to other locations. The evacuees that stayed behind and will be moved this weekend without so much commotion are the physically and mentally disabled victims many from the hospitals that got hit that first night. She said what many say, the emotional side goes away quick as they don’t need that, and she was strong and grounded talking and helping them, the nurses, doctors and other staff. It’s still not over but the corner seems to have been turned.

With true loss and devastation going on across the area let me premise this post by stating again: I joke to cope. I’m not sure what’s more disturbing here: the fact that my stick shift popped off mid shift, mid intersection, or that 5 year old box of unopened Nag Champa lurking in my console. Luckily I’ve had this car for 14 years so I got the shift pattern memorized. Isn’t it tradition to pop an old Classic 60mm on it now? Slapstick shift and gear grinds. Resell value decrease by $50.

There was a charred page of someone’s book on the ground as I got in my car today. We are 3-4 miles away. It’s really unsettling, and still very little containment with winds picking up.

We get it Northern California you vape. I joke as that’s how I cope. My cousin Nick and his wife, 3 kids and dog are now homeless as a result of the insane wild fires devastating the area. The fire spread from 200 to 25,000 acres basically overnight, and that’s one of half a dozen in the tri county area. I woke up to a flurry of text messages, only to walk to window and see an orange sky, and ash all over the place. I went out in driveway and looked up and ash was peacefully floating all around in the sky, very surreal, yet also very real. Seriously, stay safe people.

Today I got to the last page of a notepad at work and this @tamneirbo esque guy was just staring at me like “go try and catch the wind”. Thank you mystery doodle for sparking me noodle. 🌬💡⚡️🖊👤

I’ve spent an hour each night this week with my son combing the neighborhood looking for Van Gogh. Sure I’d love for the owner to be reunited, but in all honesty $1750 would pay off my credit card. The timing is awesome as my son just got on this secret agent private investigator kick lately as well. 🐾🔍👀🗣”here kitty kitty kitty”

Today we drove to shark, crossed the raccoon, made friends on the beaches of angels, all of course with some help from the fairies.

Fire it up, then burn it down. I was pretty moved by the @andyroy18 epicly later’d episode. I remember those first Strange Notes clip which was the first time I saw him skate. A few years later he would stay with a girl who lived in the back of San Jose skate house I lived in with @kidadams and some other crusty cousins and ape faces. I took over the room as Simon Woodstock was moving out. Andy hated, or hates San Jose, but as the video makes it clear, and if you know him, he calls it like he sees it, straight up. Years later I was working at Deluxe while he went through his real life, day job warehouse rehabilitation exercises, and yeah some aren’t cut out for that sort of shit. He certainly tried and despite what happened he was always firing the place up. One of my last projects at Deluxe was working with Z. Hudson @howdareyouzine to organize a few pieces of Spitfire apparel with the picture shown here on it, as it’s a sick photo of a sick dude. If you haven’t watched it, you should.
