I don’t use oranges nearly as often as I use lemon and lime, but this salad reminds me not to overlook those sweet, quiet oranges. This time of year, I’m craving crunchy and fresh. That’s why I’m kicking off 2018 with my favorite broccoli salad. It’s addictive, thanks to the sweet-and-savory combination of freshly toasted sunflower seeds, dried cranberries and cheddar cheese. Broccoli is also high in fiber and folate. I consider humble old broccoli to be a total super food! This salad is the best. 🙌  It packs great for lunch and potlucks too! Get it on the blog at #cookieandkate

French 75’s are made with a standard pour of gin and topped with Champagne, so it’s a strong drink in a sparkling dress. This is a refreshing and citrusy, sparkling gin cocktail that packs a punch—perfect for holidays and other celebratory occasions! My spin, I used honey instead of sugar in the simple syrup. The light honey flavor plays beautifully with fresh lemon and herbal gin. ✨  Check out the recipe on the blog today at #cookieandkate

Welcome to cocktail week! With Christmas one week away, I thought it would be fun to share classic cocktails for your holiday parties. First up: White Russians, which are traditionally made with cream or milk. I am not a big milk drinker, so I have whipped up some cashew milk to use instead. It’s creamy, dream and ultra delicious! 💃🏻 🍸 On the blog today at #cookieandkate

Right now, I’m on a mission to stock my blog with all the holiday recipes you might need for your upcoming festivities. So, it’s about time I share a mashed sweet potato recipe. This recipe mixes savory ingredients to balance out that inherent sweetness in sweet potatoes. Fresh chopped parsley and green onions combined with sour cream and butter are all you need. These mashed sweet potatoes are incredibly savory. No need for marshmallows or brown sugar here! 👌 😊  On the blog at #cookieandkate
