Home alone with the baby and hungry for lunch so I put together this garden bowl. Simply sautéed zucchini and cherry tomatoes from the garden with mushrooms, tofu, chilli flakes and garlic salt. Then put it in a bowl with coss lettuce and zucchini flowers from the garden and a half an avocado. So delicious!!!

When we got home from holidays the first thing I did was rush down to the veggie garden to see what was ready to harvest. I had some great veggies ready to be picked and didn’t even need to go to the supermarket before making dinner. Using frozen pastry, peas and potatoes, onion and garlic from the fridge I was able to combine zucchini, chard and herbs from the garden to make the most delicious pie! Mackenzie and I whipped it up in minutes.

BBQ beetroot & black bean burgers at dusk at The Waterworks Reserve in Hobart. The family and I shared our idyllic and tranquil picnic spot with kookaburras, cockatoos and wallabies as day turned to night.

A visit to Hobart is not complete without a trip to #farmgatemarket. Today I loved checking out the plants for sale from @herbandco. I even had a taste of fresh stevia leaves. Wish I could take a heap of them home with me 😂.

Just made it to Hobart in time for the last night of the #TasteOfTasmania. I tried the quinoa salad and the patatas bravas from #SmoltKitchen. It was a beautiful Hobart summer evening. A great way to kick off our holiday. Check out my IG stories for my Tassie wanderings.

My kinda fast food. Curry roasted cauli. Simply combine with salad leaves and some pre-cooked beans or lentils for a delicious one pan dinner. Go crazy with the addition of your fav salad dressing.

If I could wish for one thing in 2018 it would be good health and to continue to nourish our family with delicious bounty from our kitchen garden. James and I enjoyed this very simple tart last night. It was a simple sheet of puff pastry topped with mixed herb pesto with cashews and macadamia nuts. Layered on top was zucchini flowers, tomatoes and green & purple basil. Quite simply it was ridiculously yummy and so satisfying knowing that all the produce was grown in our garden. This is real living!
