360 degree launch of OSIRIS-REx, @NASA's asteroid study and sample return mission launched from Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 41 on September 8, 2016. The spacecraft will rendezvous with asteroid 101955 Bennu in 2018 and scoop up a sample to return to Earth in Septmber 2023.

Somebody found a "Spoon" in one of the raw images taken by @NASA's Mars rover Curiosity. The picture, taken on March 27, 2016 and found by a Youtuber (UFO Hunter), was acquired by the left mastcam onboard the rover during its 1294th day of work on the red planet.
Sooo... evidence of ancient intelligent life or did Mark Watney just forget something? 😂

An awesomely powerful 363-foot tall space machinery blast off from the Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39A with the Apollo 12 astronauts perched atop. The astronauts accomplished NASA's second moon-landing mission on November 19,1969 and returned to Earth on November 24, 1969.

China launches two-man crew to Tiangong-2 (Heavenly Palace)
Two Chinese taikonauts are boosted into orbit by a Long March rocket for a month-long stay aboard China's Tiangong-2 space station module.
Mission commander Jing Haipeng and flight engineer Chen Dong will be testing computers, propulsion, and life support systems in preparation of launching a more permanent space station, Tianhe-1, around 2018.
This will be China’s sixth and longest manned space mission.

Images taken by NASA's Curiosity Mars rover shows a 360° panoramic view of the Murray Buttes area on Mars' lower Mount Sharp. The images were taken by the left and right cameras of the Mast Camera on the rover on August 22, 2016 (sol 1,438) and August 23, 2016 (sol 1,439) respectively.

Viking 1 launches from Cape Canaveral to begin a historic, 10-month journey to Mars.
The spacecraft arrived at Mars on June 19, 1976. A month later, the Viking 1 Lander separated from the orbiter and became the first spacecraft to successfully land and explore Mars up close.
Communications ended with the spacecraft on November 13, 1982.

NASA's Juno spacecraft is falling towards Jupiter's north pole at 51,000 miles per hour and accelerating. In about 4 hours and 40 minutes, the spacecraft will fire for 35 minutes and 8 seconds and start breaking in order to be captured and swung into orbit around Jupiter by the planet's gravity.

Jupiter has a magnetic field that creates a region around the planet called a magnetosphere. When charged particles streaming from the sun at about a million miles per hour hit that region, they create what's called a "Bow shock".
The sound you're hearing is based on data recorded on June 24 by science instruments aboard NASA's Juno spacecraft as it crossed the bow shock on its way to begin orbit around Jupiter on July 4.

Jupiter's magnetosphere is the largest thing in the solar system; it's bigger than the sun!!!! And now you can sort of hear it! :-)
