So fun to see my work hanging with @jeffreycortlandjones' paintings. I think our show at Marshall looks great! Thank you again for all of your help, @melissayungbluth.
Pit stop in Portsmouth on our way to Huntington, WV for the day. Looking forward to spending time at Marshall University and seeing our show at the Birke Gallery there. Our closing reception runs 5-7 tonight.

Olivia and I stood in line for two hours to see Katena, a luminaria built by Architects of Air at BLINK today. It was definitely worth the wait.
NYC folks! Last year my husband curated an exhibition called "Fiction (With Only Daylight Between Us) v.2, a social experiment that features over 200 artists from 16 countries, and tonight it will be on display in Brooklyn at 382 Atlantic Ave. from 6-9. This is the show's 13th stop in as many months, having traveled all over the over the US, as well as to England, Germany, and Australia. Jeff will be there for the opening tonight and I couldn't be more proud of him. Check it out if you're in the neighborhood.
My new brochures came. I'm quite excited about them! Thanks for your rad graphic design skills, JCJ. ❤️
I'm working with the @taftmuseum on their quilting competition this month. I will pick my ten favorite pieces that will then be on display at the museum! We are looking for mini quilts, no bigger than 24" x 24", and the deadline to enter is October 25. For more info, check out the Taft's website, link in my profile.
Pretty exciting to see one of my quilts on display at the @taftmuseum! My Central Parkway Quilt from my book Quilt Local is on display there to introduce visitors to my work. Also on display is my sketchbook showing my inspiration and how I developed the design, a copy of my book, and my introductory trailer from @creativebug on loop. My solo exhibition, A Sense of Home, opens November 17.
Auditioning stitching lines. This finished piece will be on display next month at the @taftmuseum in my show, "A Sense of Home."
A detail of one my favorites from my visit to the @diadetroit earlier this week: "New England Landscape" by Anishnabe artist George Morrison, 1965-1967.
Slowing making progress on this one for my show at the @taftmuseum. I'm really enjoying all of the handwork in this piece.
We're so excited to see Sir Paul!! 💕💕💕
