Thunder is such a good helper. The husband loves it 🙄
When we go to @eatstreet we start at @theoriginallangos 😋😋😋 The husband could not even wait for the Instagram photo before taking a bite 🙄🤣

My moon glow hibiscus from Hibiscus World (at the Caboolture Markets) decided today was the day to flower! Drizzly and damp, my new gnomie from @therejectshop at @burpengaryplaza still thinks it's paradise 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Another rainy day but made it to @basilea_herbs open farm day. Sarah tempted me with talk of her Mizuna on her Facebook page. And then of course a couple of other things jumped in the plant tray the husband was holding for me as he stood in the rain 😆😆😆

When the Snacksicum you bought is ready to go! These guys come in three colours, red, orange and yellow (green is a bonus 😉), and are designed to be close to the kitchen. They like part-sun and pots. So I bought all three colours ❤️💛💚💛

Decided we needed another veggie bed (or two!) so had to go buy timber. Kept myself occupied while I waited for the husband 😉
Sooooo many things to do at the Kroll dog park. Thunder approved 🐾

Happy 1st birthday to our (not so) little Misty! She disdainfully ignored her birthday present and has spent the day sleeping. Knows how to cat perfectly 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

I like to dig deep holes when I'm supposed to be in bed sleeping. I don't like falling in the holes when I am running though. So embarrassing 🙈🙈🙈

We have had so much rain and wind. I've lost all my zucchini seedlings, half a squash plant just went to mush, and my broccoli is going mushy. Has Mother Nature never heard of balance? C'mon lady, spread it out..... 💦💦💦💦💦

We bought this kangaroo paw last year in a 140mm pot. Fair to say it's happy 🤗

I didn't realise you could get bougainvillea's as bushes, I'd only ever come across them as horrible thorny vines and I had no use for that here. But perusing Bunnings with a new friend and I had to have Vera. Such a pretty purple flower. I probably could have nicknamed her something nicer than Bogan Vera but meh.

I have been taking Thunder for a walk in the rainy, stormy weather we've been having lately, to help him get over his fear of the wet weather ☔️☔️☔️ Today he learnt that Ibis will fly away from him, despite his desire to play. And I learnt the lorikeet wee is surprisingly warm 😐

I had my own rogue tomato plant this year. And like a true rogue, only one decent tomato. Maybe because I ignored it. You go rogue on your own buddy.

Ruby made an insect hotel at Bunnings over the school holidays. Lucy refused because, y'know, she's too mature for kids activities. Totally blaming any lack of beneficial insects and pollinators on her 😉

The husband's dad was an avid gardener, his fruit and veggie patch is something of legend. He grew heaps and heaps of raspberries, something hubby hasn't ever forgotten. So as a nod to his dad who passed a couple of years ago (at 92! Something to be said for homegrown food?), I bought a raspberry bush. Which apparently needs a trellis to grow up, but it's a bush. It's lived in a pot for over 12 months and kept going crispy so I'd cut it down and it would resprout. Well now it's in the ground, growing out, not up 😳🤔Time to talk to google I think...
