Ladies and Gentledudes. My girl/Goddess @__missmeliss___ has an essential oils class in Elwood tomorrow from 3-5pm that I would LOVE you to park that derrier at! I’ve known Melissa for over a decade now (since we were two), and we’ve journeyed a long way since Body Attack classes and staying up way too late on weekends. She’s now a multi-types-of-Yoga teacher, essential oils leader, sweet-treat making Ninja, and is very fun at doing life right! Her classes are a gift and I am glad I get to share them with you. Please DM Melissa for details at @__missmeliss___. Once again, Class is 3-5pm in ELWOOD Melbourne. Also please eat some of her snacks for me. They’re amazing!

Peace Out folks. Mother Nature’s sleeping pill ‘Vetiver Oil’ is about to join hands with lavender, frankie, Ylang ylang, marjoram, labdanum, and spearmint and wrap me up in a big ol’ hug. One of my faves for sure!

New recipe up on the blog ☕️Luxe coffee-bean body bars.
The oils I chose to use in these delicious Body Bars are Patchouli, Ginger, Grapefruit and Lime.
Patchouli is the 'Oil of physicality': Patchouli calms fears and nervous tension, stilling the heart and mind to prepare them for a greater union between the body and soul. This is a great oil to use when going outdoors to connect with nature (bare feet to the ground!) because it also helps us to stay in touch with the earth.

Patchouli, in its work of connecting us to our own body, also helps us release patterns of shame or “not being enough” about our bodies, and enables us to feel more love and acceptance towards our physical self.

Lime is the oil for 'Zest for Life': Lime is a great heart chakra oil which is the colour of green. Lime helps clear trapped emotions in the heart. When the heart harbours negative emotions it becomes toxic emotionally and the person avoids and feels repressed. Lime rejuvenates the heart space and gives it room for light and joy.

Grapefruit Oil is the 'Oil of honouring the body': Grapefruit helps us restore our own power and claim our own spiritual purpose. The aromatic effects of Grapefruit include supporting one’s own sense of self-love and approval especially with regards to loving and honouring our bodies. Grapefruit can help a person be grateful for their body for everything it does for them, and treat it with honour and care. It encourages healthy habits coming from a place of love instead of a place of self-loathing.

Ginger Oil is the 'Oil of Empowerment' : Ginger promotes the opening of our sacral chakra which governs the small intestine so it’s no wonder that Ginger not only has a positive effect on our digestive system but also on our nervous system in particular with releasing suppressed sexual energy. It also helps process the energy of the solar plexus chakra which is about our self-worth.

“If you send out goodness from yourself, or if you share that which is happy or good within you, it will all come back to you multiplied ten thousand times. In the kingdom of love there is no competition; there is no possessiveness or control. The more love you give away, the more love you will have.” doTERRA wrapped up in a John O’Donahue poem.

I have TWO 'Introduction to Essential Oils' Classes to invite you to this coming weekend.
Saturday: 3-5pm, Sandringham, Melbourne.
Sunday: 2-4pm, Cheltenham, Melbourne (both addresses supplied upon registration)
If you DM me which day/class you want to attend, I will send you address and registration link. ❤️
You'll be served some delicious, essential oil infused treats and learn some beautiful information that can change your health and environment for the better.
Loves, because these are free classes at private houses, I must limit the attendees to those who don't currently have a doTERRA account. I teach a lot of classes online (check out my youtube channel) and will continue to run classes open to the public in larger spaces, but in this instance I ask for your understanding to allow those who are interested in learning brand new info on oils to book a spot before they 'sell out'. I'm grateful for your understanding.

I didn't think it was fair to carry the knowledge around with me that essential oils can also be used to support healthy intimacy in our lives and not share it with you. Especially if you're in the midst of a 'funk'. Loss of libido can have many causes. Sometimes it could be physical such as thyroid issues or meditcations and other times, it can be mental or emotional. Stress often being the greatest contributor, issues within relationships, fatigue, depression and the list goes on.

But there’s no need to hide under the covers with your grandma socks on. Here’s where essential oils enter.

As human beings, we’re strongly impacted by fragrance and aroma. Our limbic system is located at the back of our brain and it’s associated with memory, emotion, and learning. Thus, it’s easy to understand how smelling essential oils can have a powerful impact on us physically and emotionally. Aroma has proven to arouse the senses, create a more pleasant environment, and increase desire.

We’re not just biochemically linked to feel aroused through our senses. Essential Oils reduce stress and elevate mood. This in itself can promote increased feelings of sensuality and energy. Think about it, the more relaxed you are the easier it is to get in the “mood”, right? So, Essential Oils really have two roles in increasing libido. New post and recipe on

I'm off to teach an essential oils class in Balwyn this afternoon. I teach every week in lounge-rooms and studios and online and today will be roughly my 110th class this year. Yep.
I think that if we don't know the business model, it can seem like a successful doTERRA business is based solely off the amount of 'business builders in a team', however the stats show something beautifully different. We truly have the most incredible oils to share. Those who purchase them support theirs and their family's physical, emotional, environmental & spiritual health (if that's their jam). Nearly all of our customers are exactly, that. Customers. Not doTERRA 'business owners' (like me). In fact, because the oils are so wonderful, we have the highest customer retention rate of any company in our industry. 65% of our customers purchase at least once every one to three months. Why? Because the oils do make our lives healthier. They work. They're awesome. This is why the business grows. Basic customer satisfaction. So, in world where we pay money to go to a 'seminar' or to a 'wellness event', my being able to come to you and teach for you in the comfort of your own home is such a gift for me to share. And I love it. If you are in Melbourne and you're not a doTERRA customer yet and you want me or one of my team to come and teach you, please send me a DM. These classes are fun. educational (and there's always tasty treats and a beautiful gift for you for hosting). Let me teach you. Al. X

Christmas presents are going next level this year. I’ve posted a ‘lotion bar’ recipe on the blog.
What’s a Lotion Bar?
Lotion bars are, like liquid lotion, a great way to keep your skin soft. But they are solid which means they aren’t messy and travel really well in a purse. I know it seems crazy that a solid bar would be able to soothe your skin, but the heat of your skin is just enough to slightly melt the bar as you rub it between your hands or over your skin.

These lotion bars are super easy to make & don’t require any fancy equipment, they can be made using a muffin tray, cupcake pans or any empty containers you have lying around.

The bars are solid at room temperature & when rubbed onto your skin a tiny amount melts leaving a thin veil of moisturising butter & oil on your skin. They smell divine & feel silky smooth to touch – they are a real treat for dry skin.

Using this basic Lotion Bar recipe you can tailor-make a bar using different oils, butters & essential oils.

This lime and bergamot lotion bar is a great sweet smelling all round lotion bar with the added bonus of honey & soothing shea butter.

Lime and Bergamot Lotion Bars

2 teaspoons organic honey
50 grams beeswax
40 grams shea nut butter
40 grams coconut oil
10 drops lime essential oil
5 drops of bergamot essential oil
Other essential oils that work really well are: tea tree, lavender, wild orange, cedarwood, grapefruit, geranium, or ylang ylang.
I added some red pepper berries, crushed dried mint and dried calendula petals to mine as a decoration that would work really well for Xmas presents.
Place wax, shea butter & coconut oil in a glass or ceramic jar or container – set this in a pot of simmering water to melt. Once they have all melted together take your mix out of the hot water & let cool slightly & add your honey & essential oils, stirring well.

Pour into your moulds & let cool for 24 hours to set well.

“This is to the woman with the newsletter list.

To the woman with the existing business.

To the woman who has neither of those things but who has a new message she wants to share that isn’t her old one.

To the woman who has tied her identity to what she’s already created while feeling tugged by something new.

To the the woman who’s trying to work out how to IN-TEG-RATE the new message into what she already has.

To the woman who wishes that no-one would notice that she’s changing.

Or even just that she didn’t have to notice anybody noticing it.

To the woman who has a vision but is shit-scared to share it

To the women who can see the vision but is shit-scared to OWN IT.

To the woman who just doesn’t want to upset anybody. Lose anybody.

To the woman who’s head is telling her to be afraid that someone may not like what she’s doing.

To the woman who may be dimming the flame on anything that is possible, because of anything potentially difficult.

This is for you” ‘To thine self be true. Navigating change when ‘doing doTERRA’. New podcast episode and blog post up at you can also subscribe to All Rise Up in iTunes folks. 🙌💪

Holy holy holy. Just diffusing this mix at bedtime and had to run out and share because it’s absolutely a new fave!
I actually got to hug the tree that creates the arborvitae oil in Alaska, in the Tongass state forest. I love now that every time I use it I remember how incredible that trip was. (I know, know, I’ve only been back a week... 😂). Anyway, there’s only a few days left to grab your first Home Essentials Kit and for doTERRA to send you two additional free oils valued at $144 (Litsea and Manuka. doTERRA will add them to your order for free and post them to you).. AND if you DM me here and mention this ‘diffuser blend’ post I’ve got a very special present for you to throw into the Welcome Pack that’s going to come straight from my office.

“With a butterfly kiss,
and a ladybug hug, sleep tight little one, like a bug in a rug.”
Sometimes I find that even after wishing away the final minutes to the kids bedtime because I am ‘done’ for the day, I lay on Ruby’s bed with her while Holly reads to us both (Yep, my 6yo reads to me at her bedtime) and I suddenly wish we had all night.

I think this is why I love rolling the girls oils over them before the final tuck in. I get more time to trace the outline of their little bodies and smell that sweet little clean skin smell.

I may even creep back in that one final time before I go to bed myself, just to stare. ‘I made that’. If you have your own new littlie, or you know someone else who does, then this is a super simple recipe for a gentle and easy massage balm you can make for them (or keep for yourself). head to (or link in profile) for the recipe. 🌱

This incredible combo comes FREE with any Home Essentials Kit purchase this September. And there's only 6 days left to knab these $144 of free oils (on top of the +200 off you already save off retail purchasing the Home Essentials Kit). Manuka Oil is revered by the Maori people for its many invigorating properties. We use it in Cam's home made organic hay fever spray, and it promotes feelings of relaxation.
Litsea is known as the 'Oil of Tranquility' and is great for those suffering work related stress and the 'can't switch off' phenomenon. It's also an incredible respiratory tonic and can help with acne and oily skin. Plus it smells delicious and fruity.
You can get all details on purchasing here (or link in profile):

On behalf of one of my frontline leaders Arianna Pienaar, I would like to share that we have a 'once in a lifetime' role available on my team right now. Due to personal reasons, one of our Leaders is stepping out of the doTERRA business and so we have a position available for somebody to step into.
This means there is an existing team already built below that person with commissions already being paid.
This type of opportunity comes so rarely. It is without a doubt an incredible gift and with this position comes responsibility.
We won't be placing anybody in the role who is not completely committed to building the business with us and contributing to our bloody amazing Leadership Group. Your DIRECT Upline Leaders will be Arianna Pienaar, (Gold) Alice Nicholls (Blue Diamond) and Tara Bliss, (Presidential Diamond). So, you have some pretty darn serious experience and mentorship available to you.
The gift of the doTERRA business is truly the most amazing thing I have to offer anybody right now, and because of this incredible opening coming with a team already started, there are requirements that I am going to share that will excite and ignite the 'right' person, and free up the time for those of you not ready for this role yet.
The person who is right for this role is committed to: + Watch and listen to all training we provide
+ Host at least one essential oil class per week + Enrol at least 4 people per month
+ Mark your calendar with dates and times that you are available to have classes in the next three months
Due to doTERRA's own rules. You cannot already be a doTERRA Customer. (sorry loves). I love this business more than anything. Being able to change the lives of those who need these oils most is the most gratifying experience I have ever been a part of. Being able to serve the world through out humanitarian work as a key component of this and being enveloped into a community of thought-leaders is even more icing.
Please email me at if you are interested, with the subject heading 'Leader Role'. Or DM me any questions.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank-you @doterra and all the Wellness Advocates and people who have donated to the hurricane relief efforts. We've sent a shit-tonne of relief packs, hygiene kits and h2o and we've got more on the way. Please scroll left and read the final pic to get an idea of how beautiful this effort is. The world feels pain and doTERRA is the first to ask "How can we help?". Bloody proud as punch of our company.
