From start to finish getting this handicap shower sub floor ready for tile Out in Hi Kai Picture progression from finish to start. Getting the slope just enough to allow drainage Its all about da prep
  • So kinda like grading soil to allow water to run down and not create puddles.

1-2-3-4-rooms completed remove existing floors. Install 1/2 “ plywood than install 1/4” durock backerboard Than after that waterproof and add expansion joints around the perimeter. After that install the tile than grout Picture 5. yet to complete and last picture all that stuff gotta be moved back into the bedrooms so that I can finish whats under all that stuff. Had to put on my big boy pants and step up to the plate to getter done 900 sq ft. Im pretty thankful that i can still do this after 40 years in this trade
Only downfall to this new leveling system Plenty thinset left in joints when you tqke them out
Wish you guys were here. Nah me Kawiks/ Ft1 we gettum. Small kine 900 sq. 6x36 plank tile. Waterproof demo durock. Aloha to Kawiks mahalo for the hellp. Moving on to a different place. All the best

This week ending. 900 sq ft out in There Ewa—Keps /Kawiks -Ft1. Waipahu 300 -Fts/Charles /Da man
Its not so much that the tile was 79 cents per sq ft. It more about how the install is done. Another quality job by the CSIHI crew.
