My husband got the vanilla bean with the brain blend. Both were πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ». Ditch the sugary, fake stuff and go get you a healthified latte!!

Under that big, delicious pile of ✌🏻 ingredient banana nicecream is a fluffy, decadent, moist chocolate cake full of only good ingredients, protein, & healthy fats. Paleo, grainfree, gluten-free, and guilt free πŸ˜πŸ˜‰πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
It’s snowing here ❄️❄️❄️ and the only thing that would make it even better is one of these...

Mixing it up this morning with some warm Almond Butter- Matcha oats.
➑️1/2 cup oats, cooked with 1 cup @berkey_filters water.
➑️I stirred in almond butter, matcha powder, 1/2 scoop @vega_team chocolate plant based protein, & 1 tsp flax seed.
➑️Topped with 1/2 banana, 2 organic strawberries, cacao nibs, & a sprinkle of matcha.
Filled with healthy protein, fats, & omega 3s it’s quite the filling meal πŸ‘πŸ»

Fresh baked gluten free bread is always so comforting. The perfect addition to lunch this Sunday afternoon. We used @bobsredmill gluten free bread recipe and bread mix & made two mini loaves.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year🎢🎡 filled with my favorite morning smoothie. This is what I have pretty much every morning. I crave it before I’m even out of bed. Filled with fruits, plant based protein, healthy fats, and veggies it’s the perfect balanced meal. It is freezing though, now time to go warm up ❄️

-fresh pineapple
-frozen unsweetened, acai pack from @traderjoes
-1/2 scoop @gardenoflife chocolate protein with greens
-frozen cauliflower
-frozen butternut squash
-3 frozen strawberries
-unsweetened almond milk
-coconut water with aloe

Toppings: pomegranate seeds, shredded coconut, buckwheat groats, drizzle of almond butter. Wheat puffs on the bottom for an extra crunch πŸ‘πŸ»

Happy Thanksgiving!! We have been snacking on this Cashew Pumpkin dip with homemade almond flour crackers. I’m thankful for many things, one of them being my very creative husband that always helps me come up with new, delicious recipes. As good as he is, he didn’t measure anything so I don’t have exact measurements of most ingredients for you, but here’s what we used.

For the Dip:
-1 cup soaked cashews (soak for at least 12 hours)
-6-7 Tbsp pumpkin purΓ©e
-pumpkin pie spice
-cinnamon
-coconut sugar
Place all ingredients in @vitamix and mix until well combined and fluffy.

For the Crackers:
-1/4 cup almond flour
-1/4 cup arrowroot flour
-1/4 cup coconut flour
-1 tsp baking soda
-1 tsp baking powder
-1/2 tsp pink salt
-2 tsp hemp seeds (optional)
-avocado oil (3-4 Tbsp? Add enough until dough is able to be balled up, but still crumbly.)
Place dough on baking sheet, roll out flat, bake at 350 until golden brown. Enjoy!!πŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒ

I’m dusting off my spiralizer this week and putting it to good use. I used to use this a lot, but took a break. This has been the BEST dish I have made yet. I always make the β€˜zoodles’ too limp by sautΓ©ing them too long. Today they were πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

-2 zucchinis, spiralizedπŸ₯’
-organic tomato paste, no salt added (I add water to thin it out and a little Italian seasoning)
-organic mushrooms
-garlic powder
-pepper

1. SautΓ© mushrooms in avocado oil over medium heat.
2. Add zoodles and sautΓ© for about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add in tomato sauce, tossing until well combined/coated.

I️ built my own bowl each time with spiralized sweet potatoes, zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes, broccoli, cabbage, and guacamole. Also, try the infused waters- no sweeteners, only fruit πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Coming back from vacation is always so hard. 15 weeks, 391 training miles, 2 'injuries,' 3+ weeks off due to injury = 3 hours, 55 minutes, 13 seconds & 3rd in my age group. My goal was 4 hours or less so I'm happy with that πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ
Today I ran my first marathon. It is something I said I'd never do, but once the idea started creeping in my head that maybe it was possible there was no way I wasn't going to give it a try. The weather could not have been more perfect (a little rain, but nothing bad). I felt much better than I ever expected. Super sore and tired, but no complaints. After I finished someone asked me if I'd ever do another one. My answer? Yes!! Not anytime in the near future, but I'd love to one day.
Thank you to all of my amazing friends and family who sent me messages during the race and cheered for me. You have no idea how much it helped!! Special thank you to my sweet, loving, encouraging husband who encouraged me when I didn't think I could do it, massaged me when I was sore, rode his bike next to me during all my long runs, brought me food today, & supported my dreams.
