Warming up with our first lattes of the season from @southernpressedjuicery and it definitely won’t be the last. Tried the Golden mylk latte today with the beauty blend. My husband got the vanilla bean with the brain blend. Both were πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ». Ditch the sugary, fake stuff and go get you a healthified latte!!

When we moved to South Carolina a year ago I was afraid there wouldn’t be anywhere we could eat. The options are still much slimmer than Dallas, but we’ve got a few. I was so excited to have @southernpressedjuicery here and they haven’t disappointed. Thank you for always having the best smoothies, juices, and treats!! If you haven’t noticed I love to bake. Before I became interested in healthy eating and changed my outlook on food I was the girl in high school and college that was always baking some cake or something chocolatey. Since then I’ve done lots of experimenting- it helps to have a creative husband that also loves to experiment. I tell him what’s healthy and he helps figure out how to make it into a delicious treat.
🍰 Today I took our Mini Paleo Chocolate Cakes, tripled the recipe, and make a large cake (enough for 6-8).
🍰This would be the perfect addition to a get together, a delicious & guilt free birthday cake, or a treat for someone (or you πŸ˜‰) just because.
🍰Top with an almond butter drizzle or some banana β€˜nice cream.’

🍰Sub arrowroot for oat flour to make Paleo.

It is really hard to find healthy bread that isn’t full of preservatives and junk these days. There are a few really good options out there but they either don’t fit into my budget every week or my local stores always seem to be sold out πŸ™„
Insert this homemade βœ‹πŸ» Minute Paleo Gluten Free Bread {recipe from @paleoglutenfreeeats } and I’ll probably never go back to buying bread. It was so easy, I already had all the ingredients at home, and it is one of the best bread recipes I’ve ever made. My husband thought so too 😏 It’s moist and full of healthy fats, proteins, & fibers.

PS- I only used 4 Tbsp of coconut oil & omitted the sugar (personal preferences) and it still turned out amazing πŸ‘πŸ»

Nooch Crackers - aka Homemade β€˜Cheez-Its’ 😏

I don't know about you, but I grew up loving Cheez-its. They're cheesey, salty, and crunchy, but let's be real they're terrible for you. Take a quick glance at the ingredients list and you see a bunch of preservatives, soy, and all kinds of allergens. I've been wanting to make some homemade cheese crackers, but recently have cut out cheese and dairy (for dietary and health reasons which I feel so much better for). I found @bobsredmill β€˜s Nooch Cracker Recipe and am hooked! I shared in on my blog {Link in profile}, but you can also find it on their’s. Enjoy!!

β˜•οΈ Boil 8oz of @berkey_filters water. Stir in 2 Tbsp ACV & 1/4 lemon squeeze (optional). Always drink through a straw to help avoid getting the acidity of the ACV on your enamel. I love @healthyhumanlife ’s stainless steel straws πŸ‘πŸ»

WHY do you need to use 8oz of filtered water? Because ACV is so acidic that it can damage the enamel on your teeth or even your esophagus over time. Always dilute it‼️‼️

Happy Sunday!! After a sweaty @soulyogastudio sculpt I wanted something sweet, yet still healthy of course πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ so I baked these Chocolate Matcha Doughnuts. They are grainfree, gluten free, guilt free (and can be Paleo if you sub almond flour for the oat flour) 😏

Lunch on the go after a cold morning hike @chopchopfresh . Organic kale, sweet potatoes, quinoa, roasted brussel sprouts, roasted almonds, and avocado 🌱πŸ₯‘πŸ  Eating healthy while traveling can be difficult, but it IS possible. Thankful for healthy places like this to refuel πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Merry Christmas!! πŸŽ„πŸŽ„πŸŽ„
Looking for something healthy, warm, and comforting to get you back on track? I made @simplyquinoa β€˜s Vegetable Quinoa Minestrone for lunch today and it was πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
I doubled it, subbed celery & extra kale instead of peas & asparagus. And it made leftovers so I’ll be eating on this until New Years πŸ‘πŸ»
After a sweaty spin class, I was craving some sweet potato hash for lunch today , so that’s just what I made.
➑️1 sweet potato, chopped. Seasoned with black pepper, garlic, & tumeric. Sautéed on medium in avocado oil until tender, maybe 10-15 minute.
➑️Sautéed organic kale. Light tossed in avocado oil over medium heat until warm, 2-3 minutes.
➑️Topped with pumpkin seeds, pomegranate seeds, and a perfect @vitalfarms poached egg.
Oh, and we finally found some side tables we liked that will probably almost always double as my new backdrop. Somehow marble makes all my pictures look betterπŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
Most people put hot drinks in their mugs when it’s cold outside. Me? My freezing morning smoothie on this freezing December morning. There’s just a tiny bit of snow/ice left, but not enough to cancel work πŸ˜’

Smoothie Recipe:
-1/2 scoop @gardenoflife chocolate protein with greens
-1 scoop @vitalproteins collagen peptides
-frozen organic strawberries
-frozen cauliflower
-frozen butternut squash
-1 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
-1/2 banana
-coconut water with aloe from @traderjoes
Topped with: shredded coconut, buckwheat groats, cacao nibs, & @maisiejanessunshine cashew butter

Under that big, delicious pile of ✌🏻 ingredient banana nicecream is a fluffy, decadent, moist chocolate cake full of only good ingredients, protein, & healthy fats. Paleo, grainfree, gluten-free, and guilt free πŸ˜πŸ˜‰πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
It’s snowing here ❄️❄️❄️ and the only thing that would make it even better is one of these...

Mixing it up this morning with some warm Almond Butter- Matcha oats.
➑️1/2 cup oats, cooked with 1 cup @berkey_filters water.
➑️I stirred in almond butter, matcha powder, 1/2 scoop @vega_team chocolate plant based protein, & 1 tsp flax seed.
➑️Topped with 1/2 banana, 2 organic strawberries, cacao nibs, & a sprinkle of matcha.
Filled with healthy protein, fats, & omega 3s it’s quite the filling meal πŸ‘πŸ»
