I was definitely more flexible when I was 14. I have no idea where this original is. I guess I'll just print this tiny photo and put it in a tiny frame and show it to my daughter when she's 16 and inevitably hates me. Maybe she'll be impressed with the flexibility I once had. #didyoucatchthatmetaphor

In our perfect world, everyone is able to get on the stool, let go of their shame and find their full and most robust identities. Our What's Underneath open call event this past Spring in NYC was part of our effort to spread the catharsis. First up was Paige Gilbert (@glitteringgold), whose episode is now live on our YouTube channel! Watch the full video by clicking the link in our bio. 👆

"Don't play this straight." Wise words unless you're on a date.

According to a "sponsored" post that popped up in my "feed", posts like this is what makes one "good" at Instagram. The only thing missing here is a huge story below the picture that has nothing to with the picture in order to reduce the narcissism. Wait.......shit.
Come on that was good.

We can pray but we should probably do some other things too.
The drowning Part 1.
Extra credit project on racism. Summer 1997. That's my dad in the hat.

The drowning scene Part 2. Extra credit project on racism. Summer of 1997. See? The beef between Gina (the Italian from Brooklyn) and Heather (the blondes from California) dissipated in this life or death situation. *we had to cut because I called "Gina" by her real name, Jen.

Snippet of an extra credit project we did for my friend Jen. Summer of 1997.

A short film about racism. Jen on my left "played" an Italian from Brooklyn. Meg on my right was a blonde girl from the "valley" in CA and I was a Native American girl from some where I can't remember. This scene was Fighting Over The Flower. Note my mom reading the paper in the background. Clearly not respecting our movie. "Like you've ever been outside Brooklyn!".
Enjoy!!! Ps. For any of you agents/directors out there, don't worry, I've still got it. Available for made for TV movies and Netflix series (if schedule permits.)

For any of you who read to small children, this book is so so so good. For boys and girl. And moms especially. I legit cried the first time I read it to Sid. It's that diamond book. And check out the unicorns roasting marshmallows on their horns on the last page. Come ON.
Thanks @jessie_sima you're a star.
One drink and I start posting photos of the fireplace. It really has me by the balls.
Sid encourages you all to sing yourselves into a nap. Have a couple songs lined up and you should be good to go. Night!

When a Queen takes your hand and leads you. She has most of my life. Thank you to Stevie Nicks and her great family of musicians and crew for letting me into heaven for a few shows. I learned so much. And thank you to all you Stevie fans who gave me the time of day.
Is there a way I can save this video on like a drive or something so I can show it to my daughter when she's a teenager? Cause she's gonna hate me and I need leverage. Thanks! Ps. @freepeople jumper ❣️
