That time at the @shineconferencensw after party I saw my son in 50 years time. That empty schooner had creaming soda in it. And that's the footy on the screen not keno.

Ah the Lott’s. You do our hearts good. We stay up too late, talk too much, solve the problems of the world, shock our children...can’t wait to do it again. #secondnightnewhouseguests #thanksforchristeningthetoiletsonny

My girl...we went to an event in Dubbo overnight, so @isabellabonnell took the opportunity to rally our friends and move house (which we were planning to do this week) to surprise me. What even. My 14 year old, you are lovely, so kind, so capable, so caring. I can’t stop shaking my head. And, well Cate is excited about the new bathroom sitcho

When you get wrapped in blankets by the person bringing you coffee because you didn’t dress for the freezing cold weirdness you know you’re onto a good thing! Thanks Tina!

Waiting to go home, reflecting on an awesome week. Some of the highlights:
•Endless laughter with my heaven sent friend @alison55h •the FUNNIEST deckhand in the world, Damo •Doing the journey with 9 stunning women, walking for the freedom of others, and getting free at the same time •Finding as many cliff edges as possible, this one with my bestie @cal_baker2 •Planking on cliff edges •Coming across profound signs that you can grab a hold of •Having a guide you just love who also may make the most awkward statements ever, Andy, aka Tony Martin •Experiencing Gods awesome creation, albeit with a couple of total evolutionists, living life to the FULLLLLLLLLLL. #pleasepassmypenback #icanbarelyrecogniseyounow

Weird photo to post (believe me it's worse in colour). This is in church the other night as we kicked off our series #selfie. This fail, tonight when I tripped when speaking mid sentence fortunately not flashing pretty typical. I find it good not to intimidate anyone with my awesomeness, and attractiveness. #beyourself

Happy birthday to my boy Lachie. 12 today. Love his love for the outdoors, waffles and for people, shown here by our day with the Lott's and his birthday buddy Sonny. If I lined up all the boys in the world and picked a son, it would be this one. (Though when I told him that tonight he said "wouldn't you pick Jesus? Cos he's perfect?" "" was my theological answer.

It's my friend Al's birthday (don't know who is hugging her here, found the photo in my phone). To know her is to love her - her big heart, her big love and my favouritist thing - her big laugh. Many more years to come @alison55h; more holy, more wild and more untamed. Let's do it together.

Lachie is ready for multicultural day representing his father's heritage. I told him he couldn't take a pack of winnies or a goon bag to church. This is his "you're missing a good game ref" pose @dazbon @markbonnell

Because I have the best family and friends in the world and because I've pretty much slept till now, I thought it would be easier to update you this way rather than spend the rest of my life texting you all back. Surgery went well, lymph nodes looked good and normal but they still have to chuck them under a microscope to ensure no cancer. They are confident though. Sight of melanoma got cut away, so now to choose which story to go with. Knife fight/shark attack/liger hunting. (Everyone knows what a liger is). So grateful for prayers and love. Bit sore, hate waking up from anaesthetic because I cry, but otherwise so well. To people who are constantly in hospital getting poked, prodded, tested etc, operated are heroes. I hate that you have to go through that. Sending you lots of love today.
