Line outside of Carnegie Deli the week they announced they would be permanently closing it at the end of the year.

I never got the chance to go myself but it's always sad when an iconic place closes down. After nearly being open for 80 years, the deli closed at midnight on Dec. 31, 2016.

View from a rooftop bar / lounge in Chelsea. That building across the way is Google and it's huge! So many offices filled with Googlers.

You never know what companies are located in some of the buildings in NYC as you walk through the city. I'm always surprised to hear where they're located. Though, the Google building is pretty obvious with the giant logo on the side of it!

Astoria has been my home for the last 4 years and I just renewed my lease for another one. I always give my self a month or so to think it over before signing that lease every year, but I always have the same response. Who am I kidding? I'm not leaving Astoria

I've had friends move to Astoria. Move out of Astoria. Tell me how much better Brooklyn is or how Manhattan isn't so bad, but after living in Texas for 20 years, Florida for 2, Pennsylvania for 1... I can say that Astoria has been very good to me. Here's to the next 365

I never get tired of rooftop views. Whether they're in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn... doesn't really matter! I've always loved looking at the NYC skyline and it just never gets old. I'll probably be posting a lot of them in the future.
This photo is actually a panoramic photo that was taken at the Webby Awards 2015 pre-show party the night before the event.

This is the Reliquary Arm of Saint Valentine made around 1380 out of silver.

I recently went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art recently for the first time. Surprisingly, I hadn't gone before even though I've lived here for just about 5 years now.

The museum itself was so beautiful and it was a really great experience. I saw so much cool stuff, this included. I hope to go to more museums more frequently because there's still so many more I have yet to explore.

This is honestly one of my favorite streets to walk by in Astoria. It doesn't matter what season it is, somehow it perfectly reflects the weather and vibe. This was taken a few autumns ago.

I used to hate autumn and the fall weather but I've really grown to appreciate it quite a bit. I don't think I could live somewhere that didn't have all the seasons.

Took this photo at Cheers when I went to Boston with @gregtruono Sure, it was a bit touristy but I can't express how happy I was walking in and sitting at that bar. Cheers is such a great show and really makes me happy. #Boston #Cheers #beer
Also, a quick note, I'll be posting photos every now and then. No real plans, I just want to share photos that make me happy and maybe they will make you happy too.

Instagram, you've been great these past three years. Thanks for the ❤️ each day I've posted my dumb face on here. I've had some good days, bad days, great days and worse days. Met many people and been to many places. Some of it has been in my pictures but often times not. That's just how it goes though! Certainly happy to have done this (weird?) project and I feel like I got out of it what I needed to. Not sure how to use Instagram moving forward, but I'll be around! Thanks again for the support!!
Instagram, I love you but we need to take a break or something.

It rained a lot today, specifically on me. I guess they call them rain showers for a reason.
