Any plans in the future for a gallery showing or something where you can print these BIG? And Prefer the phottix over the Einstein these days?
Would the uncomfortable feeling be similar to water boarding, in some small way?
@bodhilens I often joke with my subjects that they're about to get water boarded for the sake of my art. It really is uncomfortable because I ask them to get in place and keep their eyes on camera.
I understand that. I get uncomfortable looking at some of your previous water images if the subject appears to be uncomfortable. But this one, even though she's bleeding, doesn't appear to be suffering at all. She's owning it.
incredible image. the emotions i'm getting. beautiful shadows. just awesome 🙌✨
Pfiou, disturbingly pretty this one!
Love your work! Love your honesty and rawness.
So so amazing.
I just had sinus surgery, and my nose has been bloody for a week and a half. When I was scrolling through Instagram and got to this image, I actually gasped. It made me feel...empowered. Serendipitous timing - I needed some encouragement for powering through, and here it is.
@bustedjj Wow. Speedy recovery to you!
Mercy, that long drip off the chin...
I'm really digging your water portraits. This one in particular is my favorite. Killin' it, dude!
Once again @zarias my brother, out of the park... images should challenge, should make you think, and spark a conversation... thank you for finding your brand of magic once more...
Love these portraits!
Awesome as usual!
There are no emojis for this.
So strong and technically perfect
@lalabongo Thank you
And again @zarias creates an amazing image from unforeseen circumstances.
Cue imitations and 'inspired bys' in 5...4...3...
I'd think it'd look cool to see a water portrait of a dude with this kind of lighting.
Rad stuff, buddy.
Super interesting. Yesterday i watched a video where Bruce Gilden says "I like accidents in photographs, but accidents that go along with something that isn't an accident"
The more I look at this picture, the more I am in awe. #gtftw indeed.
What a great picture and work... Please guys give me a follow trying to grow my account and my work

Well executed, a portrait with meaning, while breaking all the rules of people's perception of portraits.
Good to hear that you've dealt with the funk you were in. You have to me always been the opposite of the many who like to talk about what style they have when they essentially just shoot a pretty girl/working model or a famous person with a softbox while somebody else provides make up and extravagant clothes. And it still takes a ton of retouching. So keep finding your light so you can create the shadows.
Damn Zack! What a remarkable woman and shot! Probably once in a lifetime shot THIS!!! Loving this series❤️
