My first attempt at making a tiramisu adapting some recipes I got from food network. I'm surprised at how well it actually set up. I used sugar free pound cake that I sliced up instead of lady fingers and obviously went a little overboard with the cocoa powder on top. Here goes my first taste! Wish me luck!

Thank you, Dr. Buss, for everything you've given us through the L.A. Lakers. You've brought my family together in many inexplicable ways throughout my life, as I'm sure you have to many more. Rest in Peace, Jerry Buss. #jerrybuss #ripjerrybuss #losstothelakernation #repost #tributetoagreatman #notmypic

@jetblackace already has posted most of our courses as well as his entree at our first time here at Capricciosa. Here is what I ate: Sausage and Chorizo Amatriciana. Heh, seems the only reason I know what an Amatriciana sauce is, is because I've seen Mario Batali make it like a million times on tv. This dish was quite good, the spaghetti, burning hot in temperature and with just enough bite. I don't like my pasta to be too al dente. The sauce was just a bit sweet, and just the right amount of garlicky, with its slivers of garlic through out and of course the chorizo was delicious.

My cousin, @petrelligurl inspired my dinner with her previous post so here it is. On top, our main event: the Double Double with onions and no tomatoes. Below: Animal-style fries, well-done. In N Out, baby! Yeah!

@jetblackace already posted our appetizer as well as his own burger, so now it's my turn to post my burger. I ordered my burger in the form of a burger bowl meaning it was seated on a bed of greens. It was a 2/3 lb. beef patty with roasted red peppers, sautéed onions, and hard-boiled eggs. On the side I had ordered their Classic Caesar dressing. It was a pretty awesome burger and I actually didn't finish it which is something almost never happens.

Never had breakfast from Chick-Fil-A before, so I was surprised when my brother came home with some this morning. He got me a chicken, egg and cheese bagel sandwich. It was pretty good regardless of being imbalanced. What I mean by this is that the sandwich was all lop-sided because the fried chicken breast was misshapen and kept sliding out of the sandwich if I held too tight. Overall, however, the sandwich was quite good; the egg perfectly cooked and fluffy. The chicken was crispy and juicy and the multi-grain bagel was soft and tasty.

After our trip to visit the Discovery Science Center last week, we made a short trek to the nearby mall, Westfield Mainplace. It happened to be dinner time so we headed upstairs to check out their food court. I was fiendin' for something filling so I stopped to give Hawaiian Express a try. Holy canolli they give a ton of food! This is actually a three-item plate with double BBQ chicken and BBQ pork as my main dishes and accompanied by fried rice and chow mein noodles. Suffice it to say that I didn't finish it.

I finally finished setting up all the peripherals, so I decided to start up my brother, @jetblackace 's Xmas gift to me: J. K. Rowling's Book of Spells on the Wonderbook for Ps3. It was a pretty cool experience. You can choose a wand. Mine is pictured: birch, 13 in., Phoenix feather. Yeah I could have chosen one similar to Harry's but I didn't want to be exactly the same. Besides I'm already In the same house.

So, I took this Pringles snack pack with me to sate whatever craving I might have during dialysis. To my surprise all of the crisps appeared intact and unbroken. It was amazing! I guess miracles do happen! #instacollage

And now, the photo we've all been waiting for, the main food item served at Gaston's Tavern, the Pork Shank. This delectable bone-in slab of meat is fall-off-the-bone tender. It's flavor is rich and as masculine as the tavern's namesake. I'd have to say that I favor this to Disney's other famous chunk of meat, the jumbo turkey leg. I really enjoyed it so much that I wanted to get another!

A flagon of LeFou's Brew, served in a mug with his hero's picture on it that you can keep. You can also choose a small chalice with Belle on it if you are so inclined.
