Collecting sap and boiling it down to syrup is a common past time here in Vermont, it's a fantastic way to get outdoors, meet new people, and enjoy your freshly made syrup on hot pancakes when your done.

The forests of Vermont are a great place to spot wildlife, this still winter day has yet to see any rustling in the trees.
Pause and take it in, wherever you are, just let it all in. That is the reason I would assume, we have such marvelous senses.
