I feel wonderful. Like actually kinda giddy. I know part of it’s the drugs, but the relief I feel is immense. I had lunch- a salad and soup and pudding! Then I was starving so Danny went and got us Indian food. It was glorious. I snarfed down paneer tikka masala and paneer filled Nan. My appetite was back and my nausea is gone!!! Then dinner came. 🤓 I forgot I had even ordered it. Turkey dinner, mashed potatoes and green beans. I snarfed half that down. I’ve been drinking water like crazy. Look at that view from my window!!!! I have pain but it’s managed. I’ve gotten up and out of bed to walk twice, and I’m all for another round before bed. You guys- I am so proud of myself!!! It’s been a rough 3 months. I am so grateful to my husband and all he does for me, seriously the best nurse ever. This morning before surgery I was having a panic attack and he just quietly rubbed my head and repeatedly told me everything was fine. Then I was crying and he just held my hand and let me cry on his chest. Phew, what a day. I might go home tomorrow!!!! OMG so excited!!!! #surgeryrant #imgonnabefine #yummyfood #besthusbandever #turkeydinnercomfort #butthebestturkeydinnerbyfarisatLittleAmerica

Just a little Pro Tip for all you woman.... Go to your yearly gynecologist appointment!! I skipped last year and look what popped up in these last 2 years- a MELON sized ovarian cyst. It’s huuuuge. And I know what you are thinking, “ how did you NOT notice a melon sized growth and in your belly” Well. I’ve always had IBS therefore I’m always bloated. I also gained 30 pounds last year due to a medication (that I stopped taking when I figured it out) And yes, I do look about 7 months pregnant. So I just thought I was getting fat and more bloated. But I could FEEL something when I bent down, something was in the way. I’d wear a corset to somewhat “hide” it when I went out. It’s a 18 x 18 x 10 mm fluid filled mass. It’s squishing all my organs, causing so many problems. We found it when I went to the ER 2 weeks ago when I thought I was having appendicitis. It’s shocking how it just molds to the rest of my body. It’s insane. So I had surgery this morning. An open laparotomy. I’ll have a huge scar. I’m totally out of it and probably rambling, but I just had to show you guys. 1: melon at the grocery store. 2: Me this morning getting ready to go to the hospital. 3: the damn cyst!!! Look how freaking huge!!! #ovariancysts #giantovariancyst #majorsurgey #laparotomy #sonervous #thescariestthingever #icriedlikeababy #hadapanicattack #ivssuck #sodoepidurals #ctscan #soitchy #notlookingforwardtowalking #notababy #notpregnant

You know, just me and a colon polyp. Typical Tuesday.
Friends, @rachael.haigh needs our help. She severely lacerated her hand. She’s stitched up, bandaged, and doing OK, but please visit or DM me for more details.
