OOPS: These photos were not taken at the same spot as @strangeahren pointed out. They were taken from opposite sides of the river and opposite side of the bridge so if you drew a line through the middle of the photos across the river you’d end up pretty close to the spot where the other photo was taken. I just found this top photo in the Library and Archives Canada online archives. It was taken Oct 9, 1925, almost 90 years to the day and in almost the exact same spot as my photo. #yxe

It's a little less impressive to take a photo of the University Bridge at dawn when the sun doesn't rise until 830 am, but that doesn't make for a photo that is any less impressive. When I look back on my time in Saskatoon it may be that it gets referred to as my bridge period. I never tire of this bridge and the way its views change over time and through the seasons. Today's photo taken as the sun rose shows downtown Saskatoon across the river. On the left is the historic Bessborough Hotel. #yxe

Saskatoon is pretty wow.
My low quality phone pics,
are not.
Just a beautiful view of Saskatoon the other night before venturing out for a run. It amazes me the beauty of our city and the wonders I find on the Meewasin Trails. I am wrapping up my training for my half marathon I run in 2ish weeks. #WishMeLuck! #SeeCatherineRun
