Among many great things Bali is, sometimes the nature can be scary. Yesterday night I found a huge spider in my hotel room. 4 people where trying to catch it for something like an hour. Even though, it culminated into a success, the rest of the night was not of much sleep. Oh well at least the view through the windows was truly stunning • • #Bali #Forest #jungle #view #spider #nature #indonesia

Yesterday we hiked through the enormous banana, avocado, nutmeg, clove, mango, palm, coconut, cacao, coffee, bamboo and other trees through the #munduk hills, then left our magical farm stay at #purilumbung as they spent the morning replanting rice. We met so many farmers and chewed our share of clove leaves #bali #indonesia

Crazy landscape on the road to the natural swimming pool close to Munduk 🏊 But a bit scary because we were expecting the volcano to explode at any time 😱

The first time I did not detest Bali was when this girl came to see me there. We went north. Something about her made me want to see familiar places in a more loving light.
We found a little cottage with a fireplace where we tested the depths of unflappable Balinese hospitality in the face of newly in love lovebirds: they even folded our towels in heart shapes, twisting then into I <3 U signs.
Or maybe that much was obvious. We walked around a lake, rowed in one, and read poetry together. Modern dating is so often confusing, but by the fireplace we found each other, and my stammers.
