A whole meal for under $7! I got the spicy eggplant lunch special. (Sub tofu for chicken.) Can't complain!

So Leah and I were driving out of the church parking lot while considering our options of what to eat for dinner. I threw out the idea to "go where God takes us" and leah agreed, driving where she felt God was leading us. We drove past the in-n-out and I was like "we are not eating at in-n-out...we eat there all the time." We spotted The Habit across the street and I pointed out that I haven't eaten there since sophomore year but after driving into the parking lot, we noticed a Thai food restaurant and it was a coincidence because just today, I was telling Leah about a Thai food place near downtown and so I felt like there was kind of a spark there. The thing was, we've never been there and we're the type of people who like the familiar stuff..only going to places we've been before. So what we did was parked in a parking spot right in the middle of The Habit and the Thai restaurant and we prayed, asking God to show us a sign of where we should eat. I wasn't sure what sign He would show or if I would even notice a sign because when I opened my eyes, I didn't know what I was looking for. But the first thing I noticed is how the sun shined brighter on one side and when Leah and I looked, the sun was directly above the Thai restaurant...and I mean the circle of the sun was literally right above the Thai restaurant. So getting a sign like that made it all the more exciting to eat at place we've never been. We could have easily stuck with The Habit, somewhere familiar to us...but I feel this was, in a way, a testament of trust in the Lord; that despite our doubts, we listened to His voice above our own. #trust #spiritleadme
