The challenge will consist of some basic, intermediate and advanced poses. Feel free to try any variation of the pose. This challenge is not about perfection so just do what works for your body and get creative and let's motivate each other. gabbyteee Haven't posted lately for my 40 day poses but I've still been practicing every day and felt extra alive and energized after @yoga_davina rocket flow class tonight! jokejozefien Utthita means 'extended', Hasta means 'hand', Pada means 'foot', Angusta means 'big toe', and Asana means 'pose/posture'
Hand to Toe Pose is a challenging and invigorating balance posture with many benefits:
Stretches hamstrings and hips
Stretches adductors
Strengthens back and arm muscles
Improves sense of balance
Calms the mind and improves focus

This posture is again all about balancing and focus. Focus on your body, mind, and breath. This is one of the poses where I feel a big difference between my left side and my right when I'm doing it.
Do you have it to, that one side of your body feels much more stiff, weak and inbalance. Don't ignore that! It means your body is saying something to you! Maybe some energy is blocked, flowing the wrong way, maybe you are stuck in something and not being able to see it...
My weak side, is my left side, even though I'm lefthanded!... The left side deals with the material considerations that you are going through. It reflects your past and how you draw on that past in dealing with the now. The left side represents the male aspect of the Self.
So don't ignore the signs your body is giving you, listen to it, be open to it!

Coutions in this posture:
Ankle injuries
Lower back injuries
Tight hamstrings

Modifications:
This pose can be done in stages. Ask your yoga instructor for adjustments.
For help with balance, try this pose with your free hand against a wall.
For tight hamstrings, keep the knee on your extended leg bent, or wrap a strap around your foot and take hold of the strap.

itsyogilixious The roller coaster ride never stops spinning. You buy your ticket not knowing what to expect out of such adventure. Fear and excitement will come, you can't quite escape both. You have to be in it for the ride just like when you #fallinlove. You have to know that when allowing such people to be a part of your life,you will always have to risk going through the pain of losing them. It's something that happens to everyone.you get to your peak and trust the one that you love with all of your life.. You share moments together and build a relationship with each other. When the downfall happens, you'll have to go through the process of accepting the situation so that eventually, you'd learn how to let go. When it will happen only time can tell. Some of us move on quicker than others. Allow yourselves to feel the suffering of what it's like to lose what's important to you. Allow yourselves to be in the darkness so that you can find the strength to over come such obstacles of life. The mistake that is often made is by being too comfortable with who u are. Change happens everyday. Try to find something new about yourself that you wanna change. It takes 14 days to break a habit and build a new one. One that speaks to u the most. This moment in your life will tell u who your true friends are and where u can get support from. Your sanctuary is what will help save you. How to find it will again take time. But u yourself will know where and when it's time to go. Once you've found yourself, you can look east and smile telling yourself how lucky you are to have not experienced such blizzard. You'll know that you've found your path once and for all. The path that helps you become the best person that u can be.
