luanafarayoga In today's practice we remember the importance of the opening of the body... Why we want to open our body? Why we want to open our joints through the asana? It is not about being more flexible, flexibility is just a result of the opening, but flexibility with no action will not lead us to the answer of those questions. The reason why we want to open our body is to allow the free flow of energy. The joints are like channels where the energy passes from one part of the body to the other, and if there is a blockage on the physical body, there will be a blockage on the energetic channels also. That is why we want to take our body to the right direction when practicing, and stay there, to create mindfulness on the asana, and as a consequence, in life!
