mrstungett Alright ladies, I'm going to address something very real. It's called bladder control. It happens to those of us who are very active, and usually have had children. WebMD per the Mayo Clinic says: Stress incontinence is that little leak that happens when you cough, laugh, sneeze -- any motion that stresses or puts too much pressure on the bladder. Stress incontinence can result from pregnancy and childbirth, when pelvic muscles and tissues can get stretched and damaged. It can also occur from high-impact sports, as a result of aging, or from being overweight.️ it can be so very embarrassing when you're in groups, at the gym, etc. But I'm sharing because I know I'm not alone in this, and neither are you!! We can laugh, Kegel it up, and move on!! Pilates helps a lot with pelvic floor by strengthening the muscles that hold out delicate lady organs. Although I'm an instructor, I'm not immune to stress and I think it got the better of me today. (My birthday is tomorrowSo begins the 24 hour celebration- after I shower.) #IfPeeingYourPantsIsCoolConsiderMeMilesDavis 4d

herbidexsg For all the health nuts out there, did you know that the pistachio fruit (yes, it's actually a fruit) and green vegetables such as kale have a lot in common? Why? Because they're all green! Pistachios get their green colour from the same pigment (chlorophyll) that lights up your #kale, #spinach and other fabulous plant-based foods.

Pistachio consumption has been linked to increased antioxidants in the blood, improved heart health and may even decrease your risk for lung cancer.

According to WebMD, "Antioxidant-Rich Pistachio Nuts Good for the Heart": http://www.webmd.com/cholesterol-management/news/20100520/pistachio-nut-good-for-your-heart #WebMD

Pistachios have also been reported to be able to "protect the hearts of diabetics: Handful twice a day found to reduce strain on the organ and lower blood pressure": http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2718507/Pistachios-protect-hearts-diabetics-Handful-twice-day-reduce-strain-organ-lower-blood-pressure.html #dailymailuk

You can eat pistachios raw, use them as a butter or paste to flavor foods, or even crumbled as a topping on a salad. Raw pistachios have a reputation for being high in calories and fattening, but much of their fat content is considered healthy and they contain almost no cholesterol or sodium. Pistachios have high nutritional value and can be considered a healthy snack if you consume them in moderation.

Pistachios contain generous amounts of #dietary #fiber and #protein. Fiber is an indigestible carbohydrate that creates bulk in the stomach. This, in turn, helps fill you up and gives you a satiated feeling for an extended period of time. Protein has a similar filling effect. One ounce of pistachios contains 3 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein. If you fill up on a small amount of pistachios, you may prevent yourself from overeating, which can reduce your risk of gaining fat. Mayo Clinic (http://mayoclinic.org/) also notes that high-fiber foods take a while to chew, which further discourages overeating.
