lavenderhousevintage Well I hung out of the window and gave it a little trim. Need to get the hubby up a ladder to clean the windows now as think our window cleaner has given up on our house out of exasperation. That and the fact that Lulu hates him, and she normally loves everyone. Perhaps she knows something I don't, lol! X

perspective_flo On the left, Poison Ivy. On the right Virginia Creeper. Both invasive to trees. Poison ivy causes all kind of rash to varying degrees to people. The best way for we have found to deal with it is after or during heavy rain. The rash causing substance is less. After exposure wash with cool water not hot. There are barriers like Tech nu. Also clothes need to be washed. We have it growing wild everywhere. Virginia creeper is not toxic to the touch. It's just so strong and invasive. Both on this tree are difficult. We'll probably cut them at the base and let them wilt. Poison Ivy is still rash giving at every stage. #myperspective #photography #tree #treesofinstagram #poisonivy #virginiacreeper #rash #technu #toxicplants 1d

  •   mnochisaki14 @ctsaturniidproject there's lots of privet here which they will eat 2d
  •   ctsaturniidproject @mnochisaki14 neri eat priv? 2d
  •   oxlong3873 I don't think they do as well on privet, I think artificial diet would be better than privet, one breeder said that after a few generations on privet they start getting pretty small and have occasional fertility issures, but I know with atropos using privet requires higher temps than other host plant for digestive purposes. I'm thinking russian olive might work well for both species. 1d
