violent.revolution • No, music isn't better than people. I would choose my friends over music any day. You can buy music, but you can not buy friends. Another thing that annoys is that the majority of people who upload pictures like these with vinyls, have no experiences with vinyl. I see a lot of people pick up vinyls and take pictures of them and then put them down for "Tumblr" or "Instagram" when i got into record store. They never even buy the record, it just seems stupid to me. •

audiophilerecords "Erroll Garner plays Misty" by Erroll Garner. Recorded and pressed in 1961 by Mercury Records - SR60662.
This is an original first pressing on heavy vinyl in hardcover/sleeve, Mercury stereo.

Misty is a standard of jazz music written in 1954 by pianist Erroll Garner.
Misty, originally conceived as instrumental in the traditional format of 32 bars, it later became a song with the text written by Johnny Burke.
They have been interpreted numerous cover, of which the most important are probably those of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan (1959 ), Billy Eckstine (1960 ), recorded live in Las Vegas ( album: "No cover, no Minimum"), accompanied by an octet led by Bobby Tacker.

The song plays a key role in the plot of the 1971 film Play Misty (whose original title is Play Misty for Me). Clint Eastwood (director and star on his debut) and the Universal paid $ 25,000 to use the song in the interpretation of Johnny Hartman in the movie. •• Important notice:
Garner could not read music; orchestras with which he performed often taking a pianist to play the new songs in Garner before the concerts.
Erroll Garner was not looking at the piano. He walked the keyboard with fingers looking around and smiling to the public looking for him with his eyes.
The music for Erroll Garner was an innate gift.

blaxploitationdotcom Roy Ayers: let's do it. Not his best perhaps but there's always something good on anything he released. "Sweet tears"! Really cheap LP. #royayers #vinylporn #vinylrecords #vinylcollection #funk #soul #cosmicfunk #spacefunk #disco #ditc 2h
