  •   itsawonderfulknife @rpprpprpp I like the Rush 12. In fact, I highly recommend it. But, having owned the Moab 10 first, I found them too similar in size. The shoulder straps/yoke on the Rush 12 are phenomenal, making it one of the most comfortable backpacks I've ever used. If you like adding on external gear, you will find the 12 accommodates just about any configuration you can think of. Internally, there is a TON of organization to be found, including pockets, cubbies, compartments and zippers. However, in a large bag, I found that the numerous pockets and storage areas eat into the storage space of the bag. If you don't use most of the pockets, it begins to feel a little extraneous. I went with the Goruck because it has less organization inside, less PALS webbing, less of a tactical appearance, and more "general space". 4w
  •   itsawonderfulknife @rpprpprpp If you have more questions, feel free to email me at itsawonderfulknife@cox.net and I'd be happy to elaborate. (typing on my tablet or phone just kills me) 4w
  •   sevenfriday_scandinavia So many inspirational shots along you're time line 4w
  •   itsawonderfulknife @sevenfriday_scandinavia Wow, thank you very much! 4w
  •   carl_nathan_antonio @itsawonderfulknife you're on there too? Post your pics on EDC carry as in sure I'll recognize you. Ya my gr0 is the only pack I use. I take it to work everyday, use it as a kid bag on the weekends, I hike/ruck with it and I plan on using it as a solo travel bag in the future. Love it 3w
  •   carl_nathan_antonio Oh and by the way, I had the R12 and for the price it's hard to beat. It was my most comfortable pack until my gr0 came. It comes stiff but will slowly mold into your form 3w
  •   itsawonderfulknife @carl_nathan_antonio I don't post much (not sure if I ever have yet, actually!), but I'll try to going forward. I used to be on Bladeforums a lot but it's devolved into sort of a lowest common denominator thing, lately. I like my Rush 12 a lot, but I think it could be a hair bigger (but the 24 looks too big to me, go figure). Super comfortable and well-made. I just wanted something simpler and less tactical looking, but still bullet proof. 3w
  •   carl_nathan_antonio Yeah I haven't been much on EDCF consistently for the better part of 2 months since getting a new job. I have tapatalk on my phone so I log on for a few seconds (literally) and off I go with the rest of the day. That and I'm content with my gear :) as for the R12, it's fantastic. But like you I wanted something cleaner, minimalist without looking too tacticool but still has its military genes and can be used on any occasion. @itsawonderfulknife 3w

  •   itsawonderfulknife @punkassvic Thanks, Victor! 4w
  •   tom1184 I've never really looked at the #chokwe before but this pic has made me look into it. Looks like a pretty cool blade! 4w
  •   itsawonderfulknife @tom1184 It's a weird knife, to be sure. It looks, at first blush, that it might be uncomfortable. It's not. In fact, I often feel people that it's very similar in size and feel to the Endura 4. Close to the same length and similar feel in-hand, minus the jimping on the Endura's spine. More of a classy knife, too, and less of hard worker. The thin blade and frame lock lend it a gentleman's vibe. 4w
  •   tom1184 It sure looks classy. Maybe on the large size for me Id think. I'm really digging the smaller blades at the minute. I just got a chaparral and I love it. My techno is on your side of the pond getting a sick pimp job so can't wait for that 4w
  •   itsawonderfulknife @tom1184 That's awesome. I keep wanting to pick up a replacement back spacer for mine but something else always comes up, haha! Can't wait to see yours when is finished! My current favorite small blade is the Emerson CQC14. It reminds me of the Spyderco Paramilitary 2, although perhaps a bit more in the extreme, with its long handle and short blade. That concept is just really appealing to me. No more blade than you need and a full size grip to get you through any task. Nice for those of us who don't give a hill of beans for "tactical" use (a trend that, thank goodness, seems to be fading away a bit). 4w
  •   stephanmbrunner Good ol' Chokwe! 4w
  •   itsawonderfulknife @stephanmbrunner Indeed! Thanks for stopping by! 4w

  •   asmith001 I've been missing some of my favorite folks. I need to thin down who I follow. 4w
  •   itsawonderfulknife @asmith001 I feel kinda bad but I'm gonna have to do the same. I end up scrolling through photos of birthday cakes, graduation photos and engine rebuilds, meanwhile my favorite knife feeds go unread. I end up having to try and remember everyone's name and looking them up individually or waiting until they like one of my photos before I can find them! Definitely gonna have to cut out some of the less gear-oriented profiles! 4w
  •   asmith001 Same feelings here... You'll make the cut. 😎 4w
  •   itsawonderfulknife @asmith001 Haha, yes!! 4w
  •   tom1184 This is such a sweet pic Abe! 4w
  •   itsawonderfulknife @tom1184 Thanks, Tommy! The Super Blue Endura is such a great subject, hehe! 4w

itsawonderfulknife I'm ready to cut, write, pry, spend, tweeze, turn, file, tighten, illuminate, uncap, bind, attach, clip, document, and host an intergalactic wrestling match. Yup.
