This is just the beginning of my journey but it sure has been such an amazing start! I love seeing/feeling my body transform day after day keeping in mind that it's progress>perfection. 1. Wear your gym clothes to bed. This will cut out more ‘prep’ time in the morning. I’ve tried this and it does work, however I cannot sleep in my sports bra. (TMI, sorry)
2. Workout with a buddy in the mornings. They will hold you accountable and you’ll feel like a jerk if you leave them hangin’.
3. Move your alarm clock away from your nightstand. So my husband bought me a really annoying alarm clock for Christmas that yells and shakes. He also likes to move it around so when I wake up I have no idea where the heck that awful noise is coming from. By the time I find it to turn it off, I’m awake damn it!
4.'Biggest Loser' suggested grabbing a mint the second your alarm goes off. Apparently the sugar in the mint will wake up your mind and body for a am workout. (I’ll have to try this one!)
5. Instead of falling back to sleep if/when you hit snooze. Lay in bed and give yourself a pep talk. “You can do this… Get your butt out of bed!” Or my thought… Instead of scrolling thru FB, have some workout videos already picked out to watch and motivate.   •   cryssullivan @committedrachel - in the past I would get frustrated with myself because the scale would not budge. I would think what am I doing wrong. I started to take measurements every month or every two weeks. It really helped. For instance, at the beginning of January I told myself I need to get back into this. Took measurements, and after two weeks of working out I lost 4.25 inches, but the scale has not moved at all. 2h

Progress from last year to today. Only a 16 pound difference but I think I look tighter in places. I did lose more this year but I gained 11 pounds from thanksgiving to today. *A little about me*
I used to be impossibly skinny and stayed within a healthy range even while pregnant and for about four months after having my daughter. She came home from the hospital after four months (because she was born at 23 weeks weighing 1 pound 6 ounces) and my priorities CHANGED! I'm 6 feet and I weighed over 200 pounds just 7 months after she came home. I did get down to 174 but then I started school and hit my heaviest of 215 in January 2014.

fitchick_00 Transformation Tuesday I look at the picture to the left and thank God that I made the choice last year to become healthy and fit! I'm still not exactly where I want to be BUT I'm so much closer than I was before and I'm proud of myself for that.
