zarolalfiyan Too many things going on in mind, couldn't focus on anything at all. Poverty strict presses today with 130kg. Clean and strict pressed , sets of singles. Shown is the last set which I tried to get the second one but failed half way. Losing weight kinda sucks, not because i lost the strength but i lost my center of gravity. Gotta keep on practice to find the point back.

katelift I took a break from these to work on my shoulder mobility and my lumbar lordosis (pesky curve in my lower back), so this was my first time doing them in ~2 months! Only worked up to 65 lbs x 6, but it looks much prettier than it used to!

Strength - 5x5 strict press superset with 20 weighted goblet lunges
5x5 barbell row superset with 10 weighted Bulgarian split squats

Conditioning -
15 minute AMRAP
8 push ups
9 squats
10 burpees
100 singles or equivalent of double unders :)

fitness_titan Chest up, squeeze your glutes, tighten those quads, flex your abs and press straight up. The strict press is a compound movement that is great for developing upper body strength. It primarily targets the anterior and lateral portions of the deltoids. Also your upper traps, and triceps are along for the ride of muscles being developed. In addition the serratus anterior and supraspinatus are responsible for abducting and rotating the shoulder blades as you press the bar overhead. Lastly core stabilization is definitely in order when moving that bar. Assuring a strong trunk will certainly assist you in this movement.

cmslives OHP from Tuesday - 145x8x4 sets followed by 145x6x3 sets for that extra volume. Finally feel like I'm making progress here with the overhead press. Two more weeks of linear progression before I start to taper the volume down and increase the intensity. Followed this up with Close-Grip Bench with the slanger, and a bunch of other accessories (including Klokov Press/Lateral Raise Superset).
