  •   loganmk1 You're sick NOT strong! You are a victim to your disease, if you were strong you'd be in control and conquer this. I am 22 and struggled with anorexia (went 27 days without eating before being hospitalized), bulimia, binge and purge episodes back and forth since I was 14. I abused laxatives taking up to 9 a day everyday. I fell into the EDNOS category. When I recovered after 6/7 years I gained a mass amount of weight like you will too if you don't stop now! Starving yourself kills your metabolism and with no metabolism that means no calorie burning. Purging messes with your gut bacteria/gut flora which causes bloating and obesity. As you continue you will experience water retention, swollen glands in your throat, a puffy face, poor digestion which all make you feel awful and fat. Your body will begin to fight back and you will GAIN WEIGHT because what little you eat your body will hold onto and store those calories/fat. When you starve yourself your body HOLDS ONTO FAT to survive... you are losing water weight that is temporary and muscle. Your body will begin to eat away at your most important muscle... your heart. You will be "skinny fat", loose skin on bones, a flat butt, saggy breasts, floppy arms! If you want to improve your body workout! Do a combination of cardio and strength training, eat lots of healthy carbs, high protein, healthy fats (poly and mono fats like avocados assist your body in releasing/burning fat), fiber. I have lost 50 pounds in a year and a few months, strength train daily, your body is the only place you have to live, if you destroy it then what? Slow and steady weight loss is permanent. 6h
