pasadenapacers Half Marathoners!! We run SOUTH!

If you are running Rose Bowl Half Marathon, you rest up on Saturday but should still show up to the Pacers this morning, stretch and go for a 30-minute walk with no big runs.

If you are running Hollywood Half Marathon & 5K / 10K: Beginners run 9 miles, Advanced run 12.
I will be running 12 miles on Saturday.

I will be running @FireCracker10K.

Run strong this weekend where ever you are, what ever race you're running.

pasadenapacers Pacers! Do you plan to meet today at #RoseBowlAquaticsCenter?

Bring your reflective gear, water, and stamina to tackle some hill repeats to build some speed in to your long runs. Hills are speed workout in disguise.
If you are a novice runner, run toward Salvia Canyon and go up hill 3x slow and steady. You are going to be able to carry a conversation with your running partner. Jog down hill for recovery. Finish around Rose Bowl Stadium.
Do you consider yourself an advance runner? You should run on Arroyo toward the soccer field (Grass area next to Rose Bowl) and loop it twice, then run toward Salvia Canyon, run up hill 5x at a faster pace. You won't be able to carry a conversation with your running partner. Make sure you jog down hill for recovery). Finish around the Rose Bowl.

Short strides, chin up, go forward a little bit, but don't curl and swing arms.
