"Mary Turner was a twenty one year old black woman, lynched in Valdosta, Georgia. Eight months pregnant, Turner and her child were murdered after she publicly denounced the extrajudicial killing of her husband by a mob.
Her husband was arrested in connection with the shooting and killing Hampton Smith, a white farmer for whom the couple had worked, and for wounding his wife. Sidney Johnson, a black man, apparently killed Smith because he was tired of the farmer’s abuse. Unable to find Johnson. The killers lynched eight other blacks including Hayes Turner and his wife Mary.
The mob hanged Mary by her feet, poured gasoline and oil on her and set fire to her body. One white man sliced her open and Mrs. Turner’s baby tumbled to the ground with a “little cry” and the mob stomped the baby to death and sprayed bullets into Mary Turner. Mary Turner and her child were cut down and buried near the tree, with a whiskey bottle marking the grave.(NAACP: Thirty Years of Lynching in the U.S. 1889-1918.) #knowthyself #lovethyself #africanpride #africa #problack #blackart #blacklove #blackisbeautiful #blackexcellence #blackwomen #blackmen #blackkings #blackqueens #blackunity #blackhistory #hotep #ase #sheeple #wakeup #riseup #africa #africanlive #afroncentric #kemet #blackgenocide #mentalslavery #blackconsciousness"

"On this day, September 15, 1963. Living up to the grisly nickname of Bombingham, the city of Birmingham and the nation as a whole is rocked by a explosion of a bomb that was planted at the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church. It was bad enough that the bomb was set to go off during Sunday service (the clock on the wall stopped at 10:22 a.m), the bomb’s explosion injured a number of people and took the lives of four girls.
Four girls who would never grow into women. Four girls whose extinguished lives would never have a chance to pursue their dreams regardless of their color or standing. Four girls whose lives were taken due to an irrational hatred and an ignorance colored by the hue of racism. Denise McNair (11), Addie Mae Collins (14), Carole Robertson (14) and Cynthia Wesley (14) were taken from this world due to hate.
To add insult to the injury, witnesses pointed out Ku Klux Klan member Robert Chambliss as being the one who planted the bomb. As par for the course in many areas of the South during this era, Chambliss was found not guilty of the crimes presented against him and was fined $100 for having dynamite in his possession without having a permit. #knowthyself #lovethyself #africanpride #africa #problack #blackart #blacklove #blackisbeautiful #blackexcellence #blackwomen #blackmen #blackkings #blackqueens #blackunity #blackhistory #hotep #ase #sheeple #wakeup #riseup #africa #africanlive #afroncentric #kemet #blackgenocide #mentalslavery #blackconsciousness"

johansenhalim NEVER RUNAWAY

Hunting in the middle of the night
Running alone from the pack of the wolves
Fail to hunt make it feeling shy
Just enjoy the feast now's the time to kill the avis

Doubt in yourself what you need is believe
Cause the sunrise will always turn to dawn
What you're facing at the moment maybe sounds tragic
Yet just move on and finish it through your yawn

When the fail wolf hunting it only focus on trust
The pack of wolves is hungry & won't take for give up
When human being fall in the spirit of lust
Never take it for granted and keep on light up

Wolf hunting for the birds now focusing It's eyes
Birds so yummy now using It's sense of smell
Cause when you're hunt in the dark nothing's able to seems nice
Just keep going never stop, the result will tell

"King Moshoeshoe I (1786-1870)
The founding father of the Basotho nation, known today as Lesotho. In 1820, he succeeded his father as chief of Bakoteli. He helped his father gain power over smaller clans before starting his own clan at 34 and becoming its chief. He and his followers then settled in at the Butha-Buthe mountain.
He banded together groups of refugees into the Basotho nations where he was able to protect them from various attacks carried out by both the Zulus (led under Shaka) and the Ndebeles (led by Mzilikazi) during a period known as “difaqane” meaning “times of great calamities." He then established the nation of Basotho where he resided as its leader. It was around the time of the difaqane that European nations began to move into the mainland of South Africa.
He encouraged missionaries to come into the Basotho nations as he believed that this would make it easier to acquire guns for protection against the Europeans.
The missionaries who entered the country brought Christianity, western ideas, and western inventions.
For protection against the Voortrekkers (Afrikaners) the Basotho became allies with the British in 1868 and as a result became a British colony. However, Moshoeshoe was still able to preserve his kingdom.
He died in 1870 and a year later the Basotho nation was annexed and intergrated into the Cape Colony.
The Basotho nation would become a separate British Protectorate in 1884. In 1966 it gained its independence and was renamed Lesotho.

"Those eyes, the straight-up posture, the pained scowl. Go on, look at me, he seemed to be telling them.
The year is 1899. He is naked. He is handcuffed. He has been whipped one hundred and five times. He is standing on a buggy, surrounded by his executioners, in a farm field northeast of Fayette, Missouri. He is a young black man who knows he soon will die in front of 1,200 white men, women and teens.

This man has a name. His name is Frank Embree. Frank Embree was nineteen when he was accused of raping a fourteen year old white girl. Although rape was punishable by hanging in the state of Missouri at the time, for decades it was a punishment reserved for black men convicted of raping white women.
Although Embree maintained his innocence, he was whipped over one hundred times until he confessed to the crime, saying "he would 'own-up' if they would 'hang me or shoot me, instead of torturing me."' With tears pouring down his face, he agreed to own up to the charges if the police agreed not to torture him any further.
He was castrated, skinned (front and back), and lynched in front of a cheering crowd on July 23, 1899.
