Normal Leland And Linus Partners
friends_with_fat This is a throwback to my first few months during lyme + co-infection treatments years ago. This is now 1/8 of my supplements and medications. It's sort of funny to me (in a cynical, ironic way) when people ask "have you tried this, have you done that?" Because, in most cases, I have tried this and done that, and I am continually trying this and doing that! My treatment protocols have always been heavy and draining and...freaking scary. I have been thinking lately about how lyme is (obviously) comparable to cancer, but with even less certainty on the outcome of treatment. There is no measurable way to see the bacteria and infection growing or shrinking. Lyme can take your life in the blink of an eye, or you can treat it, and if it works, you can kill some bacteria and biofilms, heal cells and go into "remission." Lyme and co-infections never leave your system. It cannot be killed completely. It's a matter of building your immune system and stabilizing it, so it can function correctly, and your cells are supported. I lost my Mom to lyme + co-infections in 2007. For over a decade she believed she had a rapidly progressive form of multiple sclerosis. It wasn't until my health became debilitating, and I did the right testing years after she passed away, and found that my illnesses were given to me congenitally. I will fight for my Mom, for others and for myself. There is hope for remission and healing. I haven't found it yet but I am trying my hardest. I am thinking of you lymies and chronic disease warriors tremendously today. Hang in there, you've got immeasurable strength. #lymedisease #lyme #lymewarrior #lymedontkillmyvibe #borrelia #bartonella #babesia #malaria #tickbornedisease #chronicillness #spoonie #spooniesupport #foodasmedicine #healing #healinglyme #herxing #hope #staystrong #lymecommunity #POTS #heartdisease #MCAD #MS #multiplesclerosis #remission #buildyourimmunesystem #therapy #supplementation #chronicpain 11min

jungle_skip Lily Belle as #PrincessPeach for her #MarioKart8 #BirthdayParty. Her friend Lex as #PrincessRosalina. It's been the longest year of our lives so far. Her #AcuteLymphoblasticLeukemia symptoms began exactly one year ago on her 7th birthday. But we didn't know what it was for another month and a half. She's been to hell and back in the past 12 months and I'm so thankful that we've made it this far, she's in #remission and we're still smiling and looking forward. #TeamLilyBelle "We Fight Together". #ALL #Leukemia #childhoodcancer #ChildhoodLeukemia #HappyBirthdayLilyBelle 3h

  •   scdmotive Good luck! I started the SCD in August 2014 after diagnosis with UC and I really believe is has helped me. It's not easy but know your on the right path!! 3h
  •   lifewuc @scdmotive thank you! My new GI actually brought it up (though I had already bought the book), which was great considering my first GI said diet and probiotics don't make a difference. Hope you're feeling well - keep in touch! 3h
