Black rice and taro oatmeal.

133 calories, 1.6g fat, 3g protein and 22g carbs (3g fibre). Good mix of starches and complex carbs for those who need to eat before training in the morning.

It's a starchy root vegetable/tuber which is used extensively in Asian, Oceanic and Pacific Island cooking. It has a texture similar to white potato when cooked, but a really versatile flavour which suits sweet and savoury dishes similar to sweet potato. If you find taro ice cream in Asian stores or restaurants, BUY IT. It's AMAZING.

It's in my top ten favourite foods!
The dish isn't overly sweet, it's been made with a small amount of stevia and some coconut essence to give it a delicate Asian spin.
Serve it with protein such as a shake or yoghurt. Or have it as a second course after an egg white omelette if you're on a #refeed or #lowfat day.

quad_von_zilla Totally Dating Myself today. Went and buy some Camo Green 8 hole Converse, and Lunching at Pappa Rich ooh Kiss myself too I sort of avoided Asian Food for Refeed or overfeed simply because sometimes the Fat count is quite High. The skin the many oil and chicken fat are used in the making of this shiny soft gingery white rice. Yea I can Cook- and have cooked these. lower fat version and normal-Know Macro too so thats always Handy. I cant eat blind now not try to guestimate macro once You know You never go Back. Although I am a bit relax about it knowing that this is probably all I have til dinner. Cuz its a lot of food in one go- I usually eat small portion less caloric dense in the daily. So Imma go and enjoy this one.
