Shoulder is feeling a little better, still some acute pain in certain positions, but the burpee was not one of them. Crap! Was hoping it would show signs of pain so I wouldn't have to do them. Lmao!

themitt20 This guy @mpilarca671 told me about the 100 day squat challenge. I hope I can sustain. Got up to 295#, failed at 315# today. Did some at lighter weight at 5 reps, some at 3 reps. Singles at 245-275-295.
Just went as hard as I could on the #coupletWOD. Still going pretty light two weeks post shoulder surgery. Grip was probably first to go trying to hold on all the way. Nothing really overhead still. themitt20 Surgery went well and without any surprises! Supraspinatus tendon/bursal surface fraying and impingement from the subacromial spur. themitt20 A short 5 round barbell complex today just to get the heart rate up. Just going as fast as I can but not full throttle. Rested as I needed but not totally recovered before continuing through the round and movements. Focused on technique and moving efficiently. Strategized the rep scheme too. First round, went 6-6-6. 2nd thru 4th rounds, went 9-9. Last round, 5-6-7. Quick way to hit leg day! 90 total reps!

themitt20 Warm up this morning was a beater! Finally took the dog sled out for a walk. Loaded 100lbs. on it for a total weight of ~203lbs. And went 100m, ran 200m, then came back for the 100m return. Felt like 🤒. Then, did something short:

10 SDHP @ 95#
5 ea arm landmine press with 45#
10 strict chin ups
Finished: 6:56

Trying to bullet-proof my shoulder for surgery next week. Hopefully this focus will expedite the healing process and road to recovery. The right arm is going to be swole tho.

themitt20 Tried this out for the first time and I have to confess I paced myself and rested at least an extra :30 in EACH round. I strategized and didn't want to waste a missed round, thus wasting output for the following round. Finished the fifth round on the last set with 3 sec remaining. I'm pretty sure I ranked right up there with the master's competitors (in their 60's) lmao!
