mkmarkwardt Morning #lift 🏼, afternoon #conditioning ... Not really one to #workout twice in one day, but this morning my workout was cut short... Soooo afternoon #metcon it is!
Ladder workout:
100 second #climb/1 #KB clean to press
90 second climb/2 KB clean to press... And so on until 10 second climb/10 KB clean to press

THEN:
10ft climb/10 #pushups
20ft climb/9 push ups
And so on until 100ft climb/1 push up

Took a few minutes #rest between the two ladders and in total it took ~40 minutes, but didn't seem as long because it wasn't steady state #cardio, which is a #win in my book! #trainsmart #livelean #pumpnshred #dowerk #dietitianlife #sweaty #selfie #cincodemayo #crazyhairdontcare

It's easier/not valid in competition because I'm not getting the full range of motion/the full benefit of the movement because of that about 1 inch the abmat gives me from the ground. When it comes to movements like this, it is easier to use 1-2 abmats to start training/build muscle in that movement and then work your way down to no abmat. #youarewaycoolerthanmesilly !! 7min
