mamalionstrong I kind of hate posting stuff like this but alright, here I go.... The left picture is when I was two months postpartum. I was exhausted after having the most taxing two months of my life. My third baby was my most demanding, from his first breath nursed every 1-2 hours and wanted to to be near me at all times. Lots of crying, rocking, pacing, I just couldn't get a groove with this baby. In all honesty, it took a year to find my groove with three boys under age four.
The picture on the right is me now. This isn't a ripped body by any means, but it is the body of a woman who practices moderation in all faucets of life. I had the hardest year of my life with the baby, two international moves, no support system, and of course my two older boys needing me too. Sleep was always my first priority and eating well was second. Working out dropped right off my radar for many months as there simply wasn't time or energy to commit myself. I lifted when I had the opportunity, walked everywhere I could with my children and of course... Played. (continued in comments)

I know it's easier just having one, I can't imagine how challenging it will be to have more than one, but exercise has always been very important to me so I hope I can stay motivated when I cross that bridge! 37min
  •   mamalionstrong @greatgabsy0702 I'm not sure what you're doing for exercise, but hopefully you're listening to your body. I would be very cautious about your pelvic floor even if you think it feels "alright." I know how hard it is to be patient when you're the kind of person who's made exercise part of your lifestyle. I think a postpartum recovery program should be the foundation of any woman's fitness routine. Have you seen @diastasis_recti_repair? 21min

thebalancedlife I get asked about losing baby weight (especially in the belly) quite a bit. I love working with moms during all stages of pregnancy because it's such an amazing process. I shared how I lost the baby weight (and then some) over on the blog a few weeks back. Click on over and search "baby weight" to read the details. I tried to keep it honest, candid and helpful. And if you just had a baby...remember, there's no rush. 9h

Although great things were happening in my life, I seem to put all my worth in how I looked, but also felt. 9h

My thought would be that there's no reason to look back...assuming you're at a better place now it's better to focus on how far you've come and how much better you feel in your own skin now.
