I didn't get my workout in this morning. I chose morning cuddles with my little guy and extra sleep. I decided I'd get my cardio in later. It had to wait until I got home from work. When we all finally got settled, it was about 9:30pm before I had a chance to work out.

And I really didn't want to.
First of all, it's Monday. That means it's Total Body Cardio day. The workout I like least. 🙄

Second of all, it's late.
Third of all, I don't wanna.

I thought about just taking a rest day even though yesterday was my active recovery day.
I thought about just doing it tomorrow with Upper Fix.
I thought about lying to myself and just pretending I did it and move on. 😕

Not one of those options leaves me in a better place than I am for actually pushing myself and getting that workout in!

I took 30 short minutes and pushed myself harder than ever. I can't stand cardio. It sucks. I feel like I'm gonna die or throw up, or both. But I do it.
I'm proud of myself for kicking those lame ass excuses to the curb and GOT IT DONE!!! The best part? My husband said he's never seen me push myself so hard during this specific workout! You know what that means?
Progress is being made. Push yourself. You'll be happy you did.

mikailamcglothin Ahhhh! My legs are on FIRE! Just finished an EXTREME plyo workout...basically meaning there was a lot of jumping involved and lots of sore leg and glute action going on

And don't even ask me how sweaty I am...okay I'll tell you Drops of sweat rolling down my back and belly...and my legs were so drenched I could hardly get these workout pants off to go to the bathroom Think wet swimming suit...nearly impossible to remove.
Definitely a tough workout but it feels good!

ioncewasarose All the paperwork done, and after a shower and some more modest clothes lol, here's me after my all-natural labor. I was only at the birth center for about 45 minutes, and pushed for less than 10! So blessed and thankful to God for such a good labor! And thankful that He showed me how to be so much healthier this pregnancy.
These flowers are from my awesome sis Mary Rose Beiler, but they're still not as good as my little angel, who I TOTALLY would be holding, but she's already buckled in her carseat.

Begin in Fish Pose, back arched, hands under buttocks, elbows in line with body, legs straight along the floor.

Without moving head, chest or bending legs, point toes and lift your legs into the air to a 45° angle. Bring palms together above the chest at a 45° angle, parallel to the elevated legs. Breathe, holding as long as you desire, then slowly lower down.

Build up poses: Fish Pose, Boat Pose, Hare Pose

Counter Poses: Supported Bridge Pose, Double Leg Forward Stretch, Neck Releases

Lighten/Modify:

a) Bend the knees.
b) Bend the knees to help lift the legs in the air.
c) Rest the tips of the toes lightly on the floor.

youngfitmomof2 Today was weight in & measurements day for me , and here are my results of my very first round of #21dayfix 🏼 The best thing about this was not only loosing 7lbs and lots of inches but seeing how my clothes are feeling more loose and comfortable. marathonmamaof3 Do you all like my fancy home gym? All of my strength training #bbg and #alexajeanfitness workouts are done at home in the family room, usually in front of an audience , and sometimes there is even audience participation (a.k.a. my baby crawling all over me or acting as a weight for me). I would love to escape to a gym but for now home is where it is at.
No running today but did #week20bbg #armsandabs and additional ajf upper body. Hope your week is off to a good start!

craftingcrossfitmom Took the this past weekend as rest days and had a tough time motivating my self to get my work out in. To achieve a goal you have to follow through and put work in even in those days when you really would rather be doing something else so in to the garage I went and got my work out done
