OMG this is some morning goodness!! So creamy, so good!!! Has only 362 calories 7g fiber, 10.2g protein, 47.7% vitamin C!!!
Enough said ingredients:
1/2 cup almond milk (can substitute)
1/2 cup organic soy yogurt
1 banana(can be frozen, if not its fine)
4 strawberries
2 fresh medjool dates
1 teaspoon raw cocoa powder
1 teaspoon sunflower butter (u can use any butter of yr choice)
Add all ingredients in a blender and enjoy!!!
I have added chai seeds to this for extra protein and rice protein powder!!! When chai seeds is added, its not as creamy, it has a little rough texture!!!

and precursors to varicose veins.

this is the back of my right thigh.
my left one looks similar.

it's big.
it's purple.
it's weird.
it's obvious.
but, it's a reminder.

for the longest time, i never wanted to wear shorts. i was embarrassed. thought it was gross.

now, i look at it as a reminder. a reminder of that precious healthy baby boy i had the honor of carrying for 9.5 mos. a reminder that the female body is a PHENOMENAL MACHINE capable of miraculous things.

it's a reminder that although you may lose the pregnancy weight, you may still be left with 'warrior badges'.

tiger stripes.
varicose veins.
spider veins.
loose skin.
we've earned these badges.

i've learned to embrace my flaws...pre & postpartum. it's a journey of self-love & acceptance.

mandimillerfitness Hard work does pay off! I struggled with my weight in high school and college. The girl on the left was a self conscious, over eating, party girl. My heaviest weight of 160 lbs (picture on the left) was taken my last year of college. I was able over the course of a couple of years loose 15lbs, but was never fully comfortable in my own skin. In 2012 I worked hard on my fitness and was the fittest I had been since high school. However, in the fall I got pregnant and endured a very rough pregnancy and was not able to exercise for the duration of my pregnancy. At my 20 week ultrasound I then found out my son had a condition called #Gastroshisis. For the next 15 weeks, it was one doctor after another, lots of travel, and full of the unknown what was going to happen when he was born. He was born 5 weeks early via c-section and thankfully only had to spend 3 weeks in the NICU and now is a very healthy little toddler. Nonetheless, a very stressful time in my life. I was able to get down to my pre-pregancy weight within 8 weeks after he was born ( I am sure much due to the stress of everything). However, if you are a #momma you know that not always does that mean when you look in the mirror you see the same body as before. In my case, I didn't see anything I saw before. I did not want to be the mom who "looked" pregnant due to the belly fat left over. It wasn't until weeks after my son was born that I started my true fitness journey. That was July 2013 and I have never looked back. I was able to loose another 25 lbs and have now kept it off for for a year and half. The best part is that I have not left my house once to exercise(beside the occasional run) and have done it in just 30 minutes a day. I have also lost years of emotional baggage along my journey which has lead me to transform not only physically but emotionally too. From party girl to fit woman!! That one decision I made a year and half ago has completely changed my life in so many ways. If I can do it, you can certainly do it too! 2h
