nibblinggypsy I got on the cassoulet weekend bandwagon yesterday. I opted for this lighter version from Daniel Boulud ... But added a little chicken sausage back in. 3mon

nibblinggypsy Before heading back up to the frigid cold, we had one last feast w the fam at Vignetos Italian Grill -- mussels, sausage w broccoli rabe (shivalata & rapini), veal saltimboca, scallops and linguine, and tartufo. These two picky NYers left very full and very happy. 3mon

nibblinggypsy I took all the leftovers from the feast my parents made (mostly the few remaining kebabs), and made a strata. Tossed it all in a casserole dish with pieces of bread, covered it with raw scrambled egg w a little of milk and next morning's brekkie was done. Let the egg soak in over night, pop in the oven at 350 for about 45 min. One of my favorite ways to use up leftovers. 3mon
