Best of 2014: one of my favorite quick plyos between basically anything anytime. I use these in my @barrysbootcamp classes a lot.
Find a bench, box, chair or something sturdy that you can stand with one foot on each side. Here I used a guardrail on the street.
1 - Stand straddling the bench. Bring your hands right at each edge of the bench. Mine are super close together here because it's not actually a bench so if you can take them under the shoulders, do that.
2 - Press through your hands to lift feet up. Feet can land right on the bench if you need a modification. Or feet can click together. #theresnoplacelikehome.
3 - Land with bent knees and repeat. You can do this more for power (higher jump) or for speed (lower).
4 - Repeat for as many reps/amount of time that is challenging for you.

lilreedfitness #plyos today had me like . Decided I needed a mental change up from my usual #HIIT session so I got it in by doing high impact squats, lunges, box jumps, sumos and side lunges.... Active rest was high knees and butt kickers.... Damn this may be my new fav HIIT session. Kept it at intervals 1:3. TBA if I can walk tomorrow. HA. sarahhalla_ This morning I taught my LAST class in Boston. Very bittersweet. I am going to miss my Wednesday/Friday morning rockstars!!
I had to leave them with a workout to remember me by...
ROUND ONE
️Burpees with pushups
️Kettlebell swings
️Push-up, plank, row
️Med ball slams
️Glider knee drive and kick through
ROUND TWO
️In & out jump squats
️Lunge hold with single arm kettlebell bent over row
️Burpee, curl, press
️Med ball burpee
️3-way knee drives with gliders
ROUND THREE
️X-jump squats
️Kettlebell plié squat and upright row
️Pushups with crossed leg
️Med ball Russian twist
️No-jump burpee with gliders

1 minute each exercise with 15 seconds rest in between!! Forgot to include the medicine ball in the picture! Whoooops!
