---------------------------------------It is important to understand the fundamental elements that make up your training and nutrition that will allow you to progress over the years ahead. As simple as it may sound, it comes down to a few key points; Consistency, adherence, and enjoyment
---------------------------------------Consistency is finding something that works for you and your schedule and sticking with it day in day out. Adherence is being able to comply with the procedure you are undertaking and always keep within reason. And enjoyment, well that makes the two points before much easier to achieve if you can find enjoyment in what you are doing.
---------------------------------------Some people have asked me why I am dieting, and the reason to this is because I enjoy dieting, I structure my calories and nutritional protocols to allow me to cut quite regularly. Is this optimal? To some degree, considering my training experience, then yes, but in very long term picture probably no. But the reason I can continually progress is because I enjoy doing what I do every single day.

While there is always a perfect way in life to do things, that perfect way isn't always a 'realistic' way, or an enjoyable way. I like to stay relatively lean and it doesn't hinder my progress to much of a degree at all. Yes I could probably gain slightly more muscle by staying in a stage of surplus for longer year round. But I like waking up and looking and feeling the way I do

mingfitness That's right #fitfam, I gained 9.6lbs from when I weighed myself Friday morning and when I weighed myself this morning. I went to Toronto over the weekend for my friend's bachelor party. I have never been to Toronto and I wasn't going to stress about what I could and couldn't eat. How many times in my life would I go to Toronto? And how many times in my life would I be celebrating my friend getting married? (Hopefully once of course haha) Point is, enjoy your moments when you have them. They may not happen again. Live life. 3 days won't set you back that much. Plus, I didn't workout all weekend. I'll be back at it hard in the gym today and get back to hitting my macros.
