eatsleepcheerwell Fit tip of the day: if you don't have much time to fit in exercise, do interval training. It is actually equally, or even more, effective than doing a long low-intensity workout. Have you guys ever heard of HIIT? It stands for High Intensity Interval Training. You can google some HIIT workouts or watch some on youtube, but it basically is exercise that has a really high intensity, hence the name. Depending on how hard the intensity is, you only need to workout for as little as 7min to 20min each time if you do it right. The reason why you don't have to exercise for long is because you're pushing your body to the max, instead of spreading your energy over a long period of time. So how do you include HIIT in your daily routine? If you find it hard, let's say, to find a 60min chunk out of your schedule, it would be easier if you found several 10min chunks for instance. In these 10min, you would do HIIT, and repeat about 3 times throughout the day. I'm sure everyone has at least one 10min block of spare time in their day, and doing HIIT is much more effective that trying to squeeze in a 10mim run
