The picture on the left I weight 180.5lbs / right weight 195.8lbs. I lost 15lbs in 12 days by changing my diet and the amount food intake. So I have been getting quite a few emails and comments about headstand. So many of you are saying your head or neck hurts so you are not able to stay in headstand for very long. Here are a couple tips:
shift your weight into your hands and more specifically your finger tips, to do this you need to straighten your back and lengthen your neck. If you sink into your neck it will kink it and cause pain in your head and neck. Use those abs you have been putting through training all month. be sure to use a wall or spotter to get practice and rest if you feel pain. Remember that yoga is a journey not a destination. Hope this helps!

tomimanishifitness Delicious burger checking in ️ What are some of your favourite foods? Although difficult to narrow down, burgers, pizza & sushi make the top of my list, in no particular order of course

I remember a time, only a few years ago, when eating a meal such as this would have meant that I was jeopardising my hard work in the gym. I would feel instantly guilty after indulging in an ‘unclean’ meal, convincing myself that all those good days sticking to list of ‘clean’ foods for that week were wasted. I believed that there was absolutely no way I could eat such meals without instantly putting on fat. This lead to me avoiding my favourite foods, only to result in the cravings to amplify & to fall victim to yet another binge when said cravings got too strong to resist.

The idea that certain foods are bad for you has been heavily drilled into our heads. When it comes to weight management, the quantity of what you eat is what matters, not the types of foods in your diet. There are no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ foods, ‘clean’ or ‘unclean’ foods. There are certainly no ‘magic’ foods that will get you quicker results either. Certain foods are not going to hold you back from losing weight or slow your fat-loss progress. Excessive calories will.

I now don’t let food choices dictate how I eat & neither should you. By following macronutrient guidelines that are tailored to your goals rather than a short list of foods you can & can’t eat, you will be able to enjoy your favourite foods in moderation without feeling guilty or it being another setback.
