  •   alexaabroad I like your placemats! I just had oatmeal with flax seeds and goji berries, but it wasn't this pretty 2h
  •   love_n_daisies @alexaabroad that sounds yummy! And thanks. I got the placemats when I was living in Sri Lanka. So happy to finally be able to use them. Now I just need to find napkins to go with them. 1h

lavenderlives I get asked ALL THE TIME if #Doterra oils are safe to use on babies. YES, but read on.
1. -The FDA does not regulate essential oils😬, therefore, an EO company can write "100% Pure Lavender Oil" on their bottle even though it is 2% Lavender oil and 98% fillers. A lot of times these companies add synthetic fragrances and chemical fillers to appear as the real thing. So someone could pick up one of these oils expecting the wonderful benefits and get nada😕.
-----Doterra created a standard called Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade because nothing of the sort previously existed. This means that these precious oils DO NOT have fillers or any artificial ingredients. They are free of pesticides chemicals and any contaminants. This is the reason they are safe for the whole family when used appropriately, which gets me to number...
2.- As I posted before EO's are not weak. 1drop of peppermint is equal to 28 cups of #PeppermintTea. With little ones dilution is key! For my children, I put 1-2 drops of Doterra essential oil in my palm, along with a teaspoon or so of #coconutoil. I mix this up well with both hands and apply one hand to baby and the other to myself. A few great EO's for babes are #Lavender, #RomanChamomile, #Lemon, #Frankincense, #WildOrange and #Melaleuca. These are ones I have found to be the most gentle. Some other "hot" oils such as cinnamon and cassia need to be diluted quite a bit more. Now don't ever ask me again. #JustKidding.
