isabellamdavid #TanaFrench's #TheSecretPlace is making my weekend. I'm a little late to the party. Still have to read #InTheWoods, about which I've heard a lot of good things, too. Grabbed this at the library on a 7-day loan, so I have to devour 400 more pages by Tuesday & foresee that being zero problem, barring necessary pauses for work & food (sleep can wait). It's a #detective, #murder #novel-- tough & grisly-- & yet her #writing is often lyrical, too, and she can really get into different characters' heads. (Her take on #Dubliners' #teen speech is hilarious. I hadn't realized #American slang has destroyed the speech patterns of young people worldwide, like, OMG!) Finished #TheAlphabetMysteries & was feeling a little bereft but have to say this writing is on another level- both entertaining & literary. Anyone else like the occasional #hardboiled detective genre? Any recommendations for me as I continue branching out from the world of my beloved #KinseyMillhone? #instabook on a #bump #book #readingrecs #whatimreading #currentlyreading #pregnantandsedentary #bookworm #Dublin #Ireland #pageturner 4h

paulie.mathy When you are in the mood for a quick & light read, what do you look for? This 1974 Peter Benchley classic hits the right notes for me - pithy, punchy and a page-turner! #booksbeforethefilms 8h

teameckman Spent my afternoon reading "Between Shades of Gray". Evan is reading this for school and can't put it down, until he decided I had to read it too. So far it's a page turner, 50% in.

iampago #MayBookChallenge2015 - Day 2: The book that got me into reading. I read all of #RoaldDahl's books as a child but this was by far my favourite - I've read it as an adult too and it makes me feel nostalgic. I always LOVED #QuentinBlake's illustrations too. #bookclub #bookgeek #stories #books #kidsbooks #georgesmarvellousmedicine #bookchallenge #reading #wordnerd #booknut #pageturner #bookrecommendations #booksuggestions #readinglist 1d

  •   iampago They're all brilliant @lucyannikad - I love The Witches too. I bought Chunk the entire collection a couple of years ago so sometimes I pick one up and quickly read it - they're amazing. I read The Enormous Crocodile to my nephew a couple of weeks ago and he loved it so much - was really cool to see - we also read Esio Trot. I would love to have that kind of imagination. 1d

Hey bookish followers :) finally able to post.
The Ruby Circle, absolutely loved this book and series I thought it was a great end to the series, I liked how the series didn't go on forever. 5/5 stars
Geek Girl, I quite liked this book as its quite different to other books and somewhat understood the geekdom. It was a really easy read and I would recommend it 5/5 stars
Any recommendations?
