damianogrupp I don't do it to impress anyone, I could give two fucks about that, I do it for myself, I enjoy living this lifestyle more then anything.. I get the same questions over and over from different people saying how do I eat the same foods every single day, or how do I train for more then 2 hours. Once you enjoy it and it's a passion to you, it's second nature.. You don't even think about eating the right foods or training, you just end up doing it because your body is used to that.. Here is @irshanbijani doing a innovative never seen chest exercise. He is using forward hinge from his hips after completing the pec dec exercise. This activates pec minor during concentric and eccentric contraction due to the angle of pull of the handles. This produces constant tension on the pec minor as well as the clavicular head of pec major. During an eccentric contraction, the muscle lengthens while producing tension by braking or controlling the speed of movement. For instance, during a squat, lowering the weight to below 90" under strict control would be considered an eccentric contraction.
So why utilize controlled eccentric training? Well research shows that of the three types of contractions, eccentrics will produce the most muscle damage(soreness) & muscle mass. Often times I witness trainees completely neglect the eccentric portion of a lift .... Thus they're drastically reducing their potential results. Train smart & train hard
