mary_finnan New PR today 3 sets of 9 chin-ups!! So so happy! Getting stronger each week I can't stress how important it is to keep trying with these if your struggling! There is no shortcut! Even if you can only do 1, just keeping trying for 2 or if your not there yet then keep going with band assisted. Personally I didn't start to make big progress with these until I worked on my grip strength. Your back maybe perfectly strong to smash out a few reps but your forearms might be weak. Try hanging from the bar and holding as long as possible squeezing your grip for up to 60 seconds. Also the Farmers Walk exercise with kettlebells is a great grip strengthener #pullups #chinups #youcan #back #pull #girlswhotrain #strength #irishfitfam 1h
