burdickmelissa Okay - you gotta try this if you haven't... Broccoli (with leaves) sautéed in olive oil, diced garlic, and nutritional yeast - no salt :D! The garlic ends up caramelizing in the end, YUM.
Recipe:
20 broccoli florets or about 2 med-large broccoli flower heads
4 diced garlic cloves
2 tablespoon(s) of olive oil
1 teaspoon of nutritional yeast
Heat 2 tablespoon olive oil in a small skillet on low heat, add diced garlic, sauté for ten minutes.
Add nutritional yeast, cook for five more minutes.

Place broccoli florets in a separate large skillet and pour in olive oil mix - but don't add the garlic yet, use a fork or wooden spoon to strain as you pour. Cook on medium heat for 5-7 mins (depending on the size of florets), toss in the garlic you prepared and cook an additional 3-5 mins.

Done!

I don't add the broccoli leaves till the end and have turned off the heat.

Honestly, the cheese got lost in the dish, I'll go without it next time. It was so easy! I heated up all veggies in a pot while i sautéed the tempeh, then combined all in iron skillet and broiled it together for just 3 minutes! We topped it with #homemade dressing like a #ruben without the bread! It was amazing and much needed after such a long day!!!! 15h
