Normal ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Beauty From Inside Out"
beauty_by_beelle Today is supposed to be "Tutorial" tuesdays but its not a wash day for me so i decided to borrow a photo i thought would fit.
This young lady has made her curls "pop" by simply finger coiling until it dryes and separating them. REAL SIMPLE. Works for short and long hair. When i first started transitioning i did this to my hair EVERY saturday for almost a year to help train my curls. After that, i think they took the hint lol. It was such a simple hair do.
First you co wash, then finger section adding your leave in and moisturizer, then you finger coil. Let air dry over night with bonnet. In the morning, rub a little coconut oil on your hands and separate as much as you desire. You can even pick the roots to make it fuller. Play around with it. Add accessories. Wear big earrings! Its quick and you will be out the door in no time. #natural #naturalhair #naturals #naturalhaircommunity #naturalhairstyles #naturallycurly #healthyhair #afrolove # #longhairdontcare #haircare #curlyhair #curls #curlygirl #strong #shiny #kinkycurly #hairgrowth #hair #beautiful #vitamins #bighair #teamnatural #hairtips #bigchop #curlbox #love #organic #food #water

birmabb It has been more than a year since i totally stopped using heat on my curls. Finally the damage is gone. It takes time and patience to see results! Updated Curly Hair routine, link is on my bio.

Toma tiempo para ver resultado después de decidir cuidarse el cabello rizado. Ten paciencia la hornada es larga pero vale la pena. #curlyhair #cabellorizado #churros #curls #natural #naturallycurly #kinkycurly #curly #curlsoncurl

eccentrik3 21 day bun challenge! Sept 29- Oct 19

So despite what my photos indicate, because I choose to wear my hair in super curly styles, my hair has grown. To the point that now my twist outs (done without any rods) hang on my shoulders. This is great, however at this point wearing my hair out could lead to breakage as it rests on the shoulders of sweaters and jackets. I really want to see my hair get over this little hump. Furthermore, having colored my hair and seeing my roots grow out but my hair not getting as long as it should I want to really make sure I'm retaining all the length that I can. I actually have 4 colors in my head right now, but this will be key in deterring how much my hair is growing and how much I'm retaining. My roots will show the rate at which my hair is growing. The blonde tips, should they "go away" which I am praying they do not, will show me how much length I'm retaining. At no other point in my natural hair journey has length been my focus. The length my hair is now, if it never got any longer that would be ok. In fact, I have lots of hair plans in my future including a second big chop and have contemplated pics. I am honestly just curious to see how long my hair could actually grow. I have never really had "long growing" hair, so it will be interesting to see how that goes. There will be 3 phases to my growth challenge but the first is bunning (and non twisted updos). To keep this post short (well shorter lol), I will explain why in a future post, but I'd like you all to join me. The challenge isn't just about growth but also low manipulation protective styling. Whatever your goal are, this can benefit you. If you are interested comment below. I'll post other info and rules in the coming days. P.S. Check out my new hashtag #TheNaturalDoctor more with this coming soon

  •   mayenmary I want to do it but I'm rocking my protective style crochets right now. When I take this down I will try to bun it up until I move on to my next protective style.and I want to try a big chop in my future. I never did a big chop I transitioned an did trims here and there 1h
  •   eccentrik3 I'll be doing a long term protective style in November! But def think about bunning in between. I like short hair so it didn't bother me to do a big chop. Some people don't like it. I think with your bone structure it would look great on you! @mayenmary 1h
  •   eccentrik3 Thanks! @ladyayyyy you should think about doing the challenge with me! 1h
  •   mayenmary Thanks luv. When I decided to stop the relaxers I didn't have enough support or motivation to cut it off. My mom looked at me like you need a perm and the guys talked to liked that I wanted to try something new but also liked all of my hair. Now tuh I could care less about it all. It's just hair and in it's natural state it's so dope! And girl my roots be so juicy *in my ghetto girl voice* 59min
